  1. Superb MOC. Really great details and really authentic with the photo. How long did it take to build it? Peace
  2. Yup, money is always something we need to think about :D I got this idea today about building a 4 horse stagecoach, something like Pony Express style. I browsed through the MOCs on the web and haven't found one with 4 horse drive (4HD) They usualy make a one horse stagecoach. I got a lot of horses in my bricks but not one brown horse, i figuered that white ones aren't really authenthic so the black ones are probably the best. Does anyone has a suggestion of a model to look at when building such thing, wyatt earp movie or old classics? :D Peace
  3. I really gotta praise you guys, you really give away a lot of useful info. @Zeya: -I agree with everything that you said, and I especially like your idea about Whorehouse MOC :) It would be a great idea to make a Western modular city, Whorehouse, Sherif's office, Bank, Saloon etc. @NiceMarmot: -I am really impresed with your knowledge, and you were really helpful, you've truned this theme into a true discussion as it says on the topic headline. So i have one thing to discuss :) Concerning that brick palisade, i would rather go with 1x2 and 1x4 brown log bricks, because they can make more detailed and precise walls but that is also the matter of taste. @Dr Rod: El Bricko looks fantastic. You can also check on MOCpages a builder called Matija, he is from Croatia and he makes an outstanding Western MOCs. It would be fun to make a project on starting a modular Western city with 5-6 buildings to build. Just my imagination working :) Peace
  4. I am active on bricklink (thank god for them) :)), but my point was on asking about the type of bricks, styles and techniques used in western MOCs. Since this is a western theme forum, lets make it a place where you can learn everything about the western MOCs.:) Peace :)
  5. Hi everyone. Being a EB newbie and having a comeback to LEGO after few years i have to start with the basics. I would like to know if anyone could give me advice on what equipment(bricks) to get for building medium sized western MOCs? I have a lot of white, gray and black pieces but i figuered that tan or brown pieces would probably go best for walls and wooden builds. I haven't really searched for another topic, perhaps there is one that has a discussion about the best parts for decent western MOCs, but if not, write here what you think. Peace :D
  6. Well said, if you find someone who can teach us that trick with the minifigs please do tell. :D Welcom to EB.
  7. It helps, thanks :)
  8. Gotta say that, more time i spend on EB i am more fascinated with you people. Contest today, charity tommorrow, prizes here and there, simply fantastic. But, regarding the competition, are the new members allowed to participate, for example, starting now and when is the deadline? :) Becoming a great EB fan and looking forward on becoming an active member. :)
  9. Great idea, not overcrowded and yet it shows a true movie scene. Great MOC, even better idea.
  10. Greetings to everyone, My name is Igor and i am back to LEGO. Haven't been building anything for 6-7 years (long period of dark ages i know), but now i'm back and I'm already back in business, slowly but getting the hang of it again. It is like riding a bike but only 10 times better, when you get back to LEGO you remember how great it was and realize how better it is than the last time. Anyways, that's enough of me talking, just wanted to say hello to all members of EB. :)
