  1. Excellent work. The whole thing is great, the scenary has lost of action and details. All the guys above said above some minor details that could be included, and I do think so, maybe some pits, old skeletons, and some spider webs.
  2. Wow, so there's plenty of time to come up with a second tower!!! I was working on something else, but guess I can change it into a watchtower! It's okay to post more than one entry, ain't it?
  3. I now every one is excited, but does someone really has a clue of what Round II might be? And also, When in will be?
  4. I know how you picked those titles - we Nocturnians keep a close-eye to Avalonia - and you did it greatly, so it's not a shame but a great job! For what is up to the single topic for the maps, I found great that you did it, and I also think this should be moved to the top fixed section of this Forum, so all folks of Historica could easily find the thread.
  5. Well, from his signature we can see he is a real 'title collectioner'
  6. Very nice idea to put them all together in a single thread! All of them are very nice maps, some may have an artist's touch, other are more the funcional thing. I think it would be very nice if someone completed the first one in Mitgardia, and them we could make an 'interguild' effort to create an 'open-source' project with an artistic incorporation, but also something that could be easily edited in order to place new landmarks as Historica's history goes on. I find nice that each Guild has their own interpretation for the geografic issues, but I think it would been nice if we have a more accurate shaping for the large continent. I had always draw handmade Maps for RPG's and stuff, never done it with the computer but that's no hardtime, and I put myselt available if someones wishes to carry the thing on.
  7. Another great work from the Best Guild! I am glad to see how Mitgadrian frontiers are well guarded. Yes, people seem to extrapolate our way of life. I myself am working on a little thing for Nocturnus' happy hour
  8. Very nice tower. I think the compound itselt might have been used before, as is kind of a variation of the round cilinder plus brick technique. It's very nice, I wanted to do it before, but still few pieces to make it. I found strange there's no Avalonian flag in this thing
  9. Great Tower, really clean style, and the steps are amazing!
  10. Thanks everyone for lovely compliments! This MOC was something very different from my commom creations, and was surely a small victory. It really took me into Castle, now I am more thand addicted! There are some more few photos on my Flickr where you can see some details, but I'll share here too: TOP SECTION TOP SECTION, BACKWARDS Stained Glass - There's a small shrine on the interior for performing Black Magic
  11. Great tower, very simple yet has a nice shaping!
  12. Liked the tank very much, but I do think we must discuss heavy usage of steam and powder in Historica...
  13. As we can see here we might have some diplomatic problems:
  14. The Dark Watchtower of Haudh-en-Dúath Haudh-en-dúath is a hidden hill located north from the Keldra Labyrinth, in an enclave on the mountains, between Nocturnia e Mitgardia. It's avery hidden building, surrounded by the range's peaks. In the past, a path was built out of the obsidian stone that is plentiful in these lands. The Shadow Path, as it was known, was lost throughout the eras, and time had gone by without any humans to walk around this way. No one knows who built this Tower. It's presumed there is Drow technology in it's basements, but nothing can be proved. As it's very hard to find, and very delocated from the king's roads that pass by, this tower was lost in time, but my master Lord Malvadex, the Evil Wiz, has founded it and now keeps it as an important point of stop for our nearby troops, and a most important observation point, very high in the mountains, where you can see the meridional fields, where Avalonia begins and the snow starts to show up in the vikings lands. Link to the Flickr Album Our troops are in constant observation of all roads in this territory, and we are very inflexible when it concerns to unknow wanderers. Recently, we found a very suspicious small group, making a hidden rendez-vous just below the entries of the Shadow Path. As they were unpolite to tell us their names and reason why being so far from the land and the road itself, we took them to a hard time. They are now kept imprisioned in Haudh-en-Dúath. They still refue to tell us from which Guild they belong, and we can't really tell, as we all think Mitgardians and Avalonians - Kaliphilins are quite different, they are cheap and always thinking of money, so it's easy to tell if you have something to trade or buy. We won't answer to any King. Lord Malvadez hasn't received any invitation to see this fat guy's coroation, and so we won't pay respect. We answer to Lord Ssilyrrlith, for whom whe pledged alliance and who received us with honour and respect. For Lord Ssilyrlith, I come - as thou emissary - to tell my opinion of the kept prisioners. A great lie stands behind their refuse to speak. For me, they are west spies, trying to map our lands to find better ways to enter Nocturnia. For long time Nocturnus Guild has been acused of infamy and betrayal, but now we can see we're not the only ones walking evil ways. As I don't have any torture expert between my soldiers, I offer any Nocturnian friend the chance to try to soften this prisioners a bit. The middle one is a natural screamer, and I think you'll like him. If any Guild wants to rescue these prisioners, atesting their belonging to thou crew, I am availabe for a little reunion. Appear unarmed at the north gate of Keldra labyrinths, and I will take you at safe to reckon the prisioners. I also don't want to bring any harm to an emissary nor any Guild, I do prefer politics, and this is an incident that demands an explanation from whoever has some. But hurry up! These prisioners weren't harmed or injured, but I haven't saw a human which lived more three nights hanging on a cross. (First big-castle-MOc ever since I am an AFOL! As i have no 'big castle set', this was surely a challenge, I had to tear down some other MOCs and spent almost all my bley bricks! It seems I will have to buy some Castle sets to make it to next challenge!) * I just had to copy Silver Smith's idea of the Motorcycle Cop's tile as a sign! Well done, man!
  15. So, in this case, the spideys are friendly
  16. That's really nice! Is that an original lego string? They are much better than the ones I find in regular stores... Not so sure about that red piece, though... Was it the only one availabe? A black one would look better, IMHO...
  17. My Lord, I come to show my desire to be your Emissary, wherever that Fire Chariot can't reach. Me and my Winged Beast are here at your disposal And I also got a Beholder, which will enforce the stand by forces on my Watch Tower. You can see it here, scaring the hell out of some flimsy Avalonians!
  18. Calm down, man, a space time vortex caught our warriors in the rough encounter and took us to a Mall, but the gap already ended and we're back to Historica
  19. A little playtime between different Guilds: Just showing some recent battle that envolved Lord Malvadex's troops with a little Avalonian crew - our friend Stonir, he isn't signed up yet but that is something that will happen soon. Nocturnus are in greater number and weapons, no way those poor Avalonians will survive. (I took my 12 year old brother and another two kfols from Lug Brasil for a little chat and play on a mall this weekend, and Historica was the main issue, though the orange truck behind was surely the star of the night!)
  20. Lord Malvadex brings his evil Clan for the appreciation of thy maleficence, Lord Ssilyrrlith. He lays his weapons and abilities for the pride and glory of Nocturnus Guild. He brings his minions, his human infantry and his twisted apprentices, the ninja witch Can Cerígena and the vampire lost soldier Haz Mataz. He also brings the Pride of Merodaquinas, the faceless champion Akatos Kaos, who holds the Kala Mace. I am Cij Daoke, most known as Snake the Elusive, and have served my Lord the last seventy winters, which he recompensed me by investing me with the gift of youth. I've seen the Gates of Infernia, I walked the Blood Path, I drunk the blood of the fallen Angel and draw the heart of a Venus. Today, I carry Nocturnus's flag, wishing to tear down our enemies and rule Historica with the Strenght of the Evil! To show our appreciation to the cause, we'll bring for you soon some well desirable gifts. I will add some more Infantry, and will dedicate them all to concusion weaponry, such as maces, hammers and mauls.
  21. I come from very fair to announce Lord Malvadex will to lay his weapons over Lord Ssilyrrlith command. The news of the gathering of forces in Historica had already reached the fairest lands of this world, and we are quickly responding to it by supporting Nocturnus colours. My Lord most deep desires is to conquer the world under Nocturnus stripes and bring fear and doom all over these lands. My Lord do also have an merciless human troop to help in all our interests. Give a man the pleasure of drawing blood once, and they'll get addicted very fast. Our commitive is already arriving - our beasts travels fasts but only under the shade of the Night. To show you all we have experience casting Dark portals and summoning Golems, my Lord wanted me to show you his late experience over Marduk's Portal: (Sorry guys, still hadn't had the time to shoot my troop, but i'll post it ASAP!)
  22. Hello all folks from all worldwide! My name is Felipe, I'm a 25 years AFOL from Brazil. I am mostly known as FelipeDescomplicado, which is my Flickr account profile name and also my current nick in LugBrasil. I attend Tourism course, in UFMG. I also study French now - I took seven years of English course in my teenagehood, though I've never left my country. Nowadays, I work as manager in my father's eletric shop - mainly powertools and domestic machinery. I am also a Musician, every weekend, and have ever played in very different styles - from gothic, to brazilian popular, passing by Jazz standards and indie rock, though Heavy Metal will be always my home! I've been a Lego fan since a kid, though I had few sets. In the late 80's Lego had a factory in Brazil, so prices were nice and every kid in those days knew Lego, if they had none. But after some years Lego left the South America, and after some more years a Importer took the choice to distribute TLG products in Brazil. Conclusion: prices are overrated, not everything is available - seasonals and that kind of stuff are impossible, there's no P@P nor Shop at Home. We always will have Bricklink worldwide, but I can't handle a two month waiting time so I usually buy from one or other shop that sells with some discount and also some AFOL friends who sell something to help their own collection growth. I the extreme case of "Want much, must have" I do go to regular shops and buy market-price sets, but always with some sorrow in my head. I am mostly a Vehicle small-scale builder. I'll share some of my work: Yes, I have a thing for Trucks and wide loads I am also a Sci-fi and Starship fan I had always came to Eurobricks looking for information, and taking longtime looks over the customization articles. I had bought some decal paper, but hadn't had the right time and inspiration to start minifig custom, but that's something growing in my head! Today, I signed for Eurobricks for Historica. It's amazing what you're doing, I got to known it from some friends which are already signed up and starting to show themselves. I think we will be using a brazilian flag, so we will be all recognizable to you. I had organize a Monthly Castle Challenge on Lug Brazil, we're up to the fourth edition; We are still a little group but we have the will and we're all in constant growth! This month's challenge lays upon "Mystic Monsters". My dear friends Fantu and Pizinho are part of this team. They're both Avalonians right now, Fantu had done a war-lion for our Challenge and it's representing thy colours right now! I'm myself will go for Nocturnus! To show you I have already mixing with dark forces singe the begining, I show you this: Lord Malvadex - the well known evil Wiz - is already assembled to my Nocturnus small clan, we'll be kicking some seriously Avalonian, Mitgardian and Kaliphilian megablocks very soon! Thanks everybody for your time - such a long presentation - and I'll meet you in the Historica battlefield! (Just loved how the word that refers to 'human behinds' changes to MB! Sorry for swearing...)
