  1. Hmm.. Ability to export the models for 3D/After Effects?
  2. I'm using all available bricks in LDD with extended mode I don't think LDD is the problem, but more Bricksmiths brick database that's not up to date with LDDs. Not sure about that tho.
  3. Hmm well, I did manage to export from LDD to XXX.ldr which Bricksmith support, so I guess I can play around with that :) It does have some bricks it can't find, prob because it's out dated.
  4. So, yea, my name is Lukas, 17 years old, loves LEGO when I get the chance to play with it, since I'm on a boarding school at the moment, and rarely home. I'm using Lego Digital Designer to "play" with LEGO while I'm at the boarding school, which gave me the project to build the school in LDD, which was a success (used about 2 weeks on it). While the model got pretty big (160x208 points/bricks or w/e the format is called ), so it's pretty expensive ($1622). Me and a friend of mine decided to contact LEGO themselves after showing the model to the school, so we made contact, got a sponsorship in, and we're now awaiting the bricks to arrive, that we want to record in a stop motion, send the video to LEGO, and they can use it however they want (in commercials or what ever they want) :) /Lukas 45
  5. Thank you. I will take a look into LDraw/Bricksmith.
  6. Thank you :) No, I hadn't :D Thank you a lot, I'll take a look. Took a look, and does still look good, but it is not quite what I'm looking for. What I'm basically looking for, is a function to render it into a 3D program somehow (or After Effects). Not sure if you can render the .xml to 3D however, haven't tried such thing.
  7. Long story short; So, I'm on a boarding school, and I managed to build my boarding school in LDD (thanks for the fantastic program!), make a sponsoring with LEGO™, so our school make a small stop motion that LEGO can use in their commercials or what ever they want (the 4400 bricks have yet to arrive). My question is, when we make the movie/stop motion, it could be nice to be able to make it further with the model in CINEMA 4D/After Effects, so is there a way to export the LDD model to these, or maybe built into LDD5? I'm on a Mac with OS X Lion by the way.
