  1. Not sure about Wellington, but at Toyco in Auckland Benny's Spaceship is available for pre-order, and Seacow is in stock.
  2. I quite like the helmet, don't think we've had that one since Fantasy Era (apart from the Evil Knight CM). I'm slowly warming to these sets, but only because its something my young sons will enjoy, I probably won't be collecting any myself. Well, maybe the Castle :)
  3. Great moc! It looks just as uncomfortable as the real thing :) Nice job.
  4. 21. Domino39 - 3 8. Trainee - 1 37. jirikone -1
  5. Very cool little set, packed with useful accessories and figs for such a small set. Nice review, thanks.
  6. Hey thanks for bumping this thread, made me take a look at the presentation from 2010, which was very well done. I think the wigs and other minifig accessories would be great to add more variety to the Pirate world. One piece I miss is the old wooden doors with curved top, they looked great as a pair. Fingers crossed we don't have to wait several years for another Pirate theme.
  7. Here's a moc I did a while back using that piece. It's a good size piece for smaller ships. I was inspired by the old Imperial Trading Post merchant ship. http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/291848
  8. Don't forget to get a bit of variety of colours - Dark Bley and Black, Tan, Brown - all make the MOC a bit more interesting. Especially use contrasting colours for inverse slopes or pillars etc. Also don't forget windows and doors, torches and flags, roof slopes...
  9. Very nice, clever use of doors and the roof window as others have said.
  10. Awesome! I especially like the roof design and the splashes of different brick colour in the walls. Very realistic, well done.
  11. Awesome, great use of the river to power both blacksmiths!
  12. That's what I was wondering! All those rubber bands must give it a bit of punch?
  13. Haha! Love the sets stacked on and around the scratching post! Nice collection though. Its a slippery slope though - I used to only collect castle, now its anything Lego!
  14. I'm disappointed that they havn't released a proper Dragon Castle, only the Prison Tower. The theme itself is surprisingly short-lived compared to the Fantasy Era.
  15. I too am hoping the Kingdoms line continues, and while I'm a huge LOTR fan, I'm not that excited about a LEGO theme dedicated to it (well, maybe an Aragorn Minifig!). I'm a bit confused as to what people are expecting with this theme. LOTR sets released with the first Hobbit movie? I realise the Hobbit is a prequel to LOTR, but there are only a handful of Hobbit characters that feature in LOTR, or are people expecting the Hobbit movie to just be a springboard to release LOTR LEGO sets? The other thing I'm worried about is the vast size of possible LOTR sets, and how they will be decided? Or will it end up being like Star Wars where we get re-hashing of iconic sets instead of releases of other minor movie scenes. Hopefully I'm proved wrong and the theme (if it eventuates) is fantastic!
