I actually still have a few of these sealed in the box. Great set, and an instant mounted cavalry addition to any army.

You can send PMs at 10 posts. So go comment on something and then drop me a PM here. It's a lot easier to talk once I know what you're interested in. :) I know what you mean. I generally save the MISB stuff for trades/sales. I do have some parts/pieces, but my collection is a bit disorganized at the moment due to several moves that it's hard for me to pinpoint pieces as "extra" that I could trade away or sell.

Castle layout before re-build/ pull down

Undead forestmen, genius! :) -
That's awesome! I really like that trading post ship design and the smaller ships still are my most enjoyable builds. That being said, yes, having a lot of ships takes up a LOT of space. So mine aren't all built. Most are tucked away in plastic baggies or sealed set boxes. But I do have some of the largest up for display over my computer desk and in the garage.

Definately a champion soldier for any army! Very nice creative thinking.

I really like the well-thought-out backstory that goes along with the MOC. A real winning touch!

I'm a fan of something castle rather than nothing-castle. I like the Kingdoms 2012 sets however so I'm looking forward to more.

This is definately worth bookmarking and coming back to. Thanks! -
Interesting idea, I agree. Is she not armed or protected by body-guards?

This is such an iconic set. I bought one and restored another from my collection and tucked it away. Definately a piece of Lego history. -
New Lego 10223 Kingdoms Joust Exclusive

I think the Black Falcon fig was a nice link to a well-beloved line from many years back. I liked it. They could have added a squire on the side however :) -
I'd really like to see a set that involves a hangar scene, with a starfighter or two. Price point would be around the US$100 mark, but that's not so unusual these days and having a hangar (a built hangar, not just a wall with a door) and several ships + support gear would be well worth it.

I don't have either one yet, but I do have a pretty fair-size collection of older ships to compare them against. That being said, I think the size issue is probably the most for me. I enjoy detail on the inside, but if the ships just doesn't "look" robust enough from the outside... well it certainly wouldn't strike fear the heart of any sea-faring whelp, pirate or otherwise. For that, I prefer the QAR. However, I will eventually get one of both (if the good wife will permit).

Let's see, I have: 1 SES 2 BSB (and 2 partials) 2 RBR 4 Caribean Clippers ( 1 partial ) 4 Renegade Runners 4 Crossbone Clippers 4 Imperial Flagships (old) 1 Imperial Flagship (new) 3 Brickbeard Bounties 4 Imperial Armada Flagships Total of 29 ships and 3 partials (hulls, masts, etc) I have a number of other smaller ships like Adventurer Junkets (3 of these) or large Viking ship (3 of these). Sadly, now QAR or Black Pearl yet... I have to sell off some old sets to make some money for the POTC line.
