the battery stays in the 8043! I am so glad that I won the fight against the cables :D For the Backhoe I will order a another battery from wassermann.

hm... , my charger from wassermann has a long straight plug that doesn't fit into the charging jack. the side panel is in the way.... No big deal. fantastic model that will stay, asembled in the tray.

Thanks Jurgen for that outstanding Mod. You should have earned 10 € for that instructions, too. After that build I will build the Backhoe. This might be outstanding too. The battery arrived after 4 days from Wassermann, that was fast! One little question. To charge the battery, do you have to remove the left panel too, to get to the charging jack / port?
