  1. It's really a bit late for this, as I joined last October, but I've finally started posting semi-regularly... So, why not introduce myself? I joined the online LEGO community over a year and a half ago, but have been a LEGO fan all my life. I frequently build MOCs, but I'm lazy and have a lot going on, so I don't get to it as often as I'd like. I am a person, who is a certain amount of years old that is probably greater than three. I'm paranoid, and see no reason to post much of any (real) personal information on the web. I'm proficient in WikiCoding, and know my way around basic HTML. I'm a major grammar stickler, despite the fact that English is occasionally difficult for me, and, judging from this post, I seem to be unable to write a string of sentences that really go together, and aren't just a list. I like ending sentences with emoticons, but am resisting the urge for this post. My favorite themes are generally those that are obscure/disliked, such as Galidor and Scala (not really sure why I'm attracted to them, I just am), as well as those that are just a bit obscure, such as Modulex. However, to one degree or another, I like any older theme. The only current themes I'm especially interested in are Friends, Monster Fighters, and (to a certain extent) Super Heroes. I was a huge fan of BIONICLE when it was being made, but the advent of Hero Factory (which, so my stance on this is clear, I hate) and lack of any easily attainable stimulating sets have made me lose interest in it (although I can still read and write the Matoran Language). I collect the LEGO/DK visual dictionaries, and really wish I could justify getting all the DK books. That's really all I can find to write about.
  2. Everyone loves Chrome!
  3. I made this name exclusively so I wouldn't have to use the confusing one I use everywhere else. Pople always ask what it means, which gets tiresome as I never tell anyone anything...
  4. Very nice test! I'm a Reviewer, although I think it's really more like a cross between that and purist MOCer.
  5. is a leaf in the wind.

  6. Oh, but spider-missiles are extremely dangerous.
  7. Has anyone posted this yet?
  8. I'm liking the pirate, it was pretty much inevitable.
  9. That really would be the only way to satisfy me. I am, however, hoping this one will be more realistic than the original Arctic, but that doesn't seem very likely.
  10. "Get off my lawn, you crazy kids!" Really nice little vig, actually kinda reminds me of the stuff I like to do (in building, that is, not grave-dancing ).
  11. I considered picking this up just for the minifigure, but, as I built my own display case ages ago, I decided against it. I agree with you, I'm not really sure why this one was made.
  12. Very nice review! With regard to the aesthetics, parts, and set design: I totally agree with you, the set is amazing. However: For me, actually playing the game is astonishingly repetitious, arbitrary, frustrating, and boring... Net result: the game sat, mostly unplayed with, under a desk for a few months, until I finally disassembled it for the parts. Still, great review!
  13. Really glad I'm not the only person who's disappointed by that.
  14. I actually think I like the preliminary Wolf Moonstone more than the new red one.
  15. In that case, consider the vast majority of us uncool in one way or another...
  16. "As opposed to other Lego toys, Hero Factory has a distinct storyline and a dense mythology." HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA*hack*HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
  17. I find it really amusing that I created one of the images they're using in their banner by screenshotting (is that the right word?) it off of classic LEGO.com a few months ago. I really like Captain Cold. Not sure about any of the others, although Nightwing is nice. (but he hasn't changed much, has he?)
  18. Why is my first thought "PENGUINS!"?
  19. Well, you could always go with "Monster Fighters."
  20. Welcome to Eurobricks! Very nice setup, nicely done!
  21. I really like that doctor! Shame about the legs, though...
  22. I think that's the first theory for that part I've heard that actually seems sensible!
  23. I'm probably in the minority here, but I quite like this version of Harry. I agree, it should be something more special to send the theme off with a bang, but once you get over that disappointment, he does look quite nice. I'm espially a fan of the printed legs, which, I think, are a first first the character.
