  1. Shame about the hair.

  2. I can't really form an opinion based on one small set image and a basic intro pack thing, but it just looks like a boring redo of Ninjago. Oh well, not really surprising.
  3. Congratulations to the winners! Money's tight, so I don't think I'll really be able to justify buying the book, but it looks amazing. Maybe come Christmastime, some understanding soul will supply me with it.
  4. Well, you can't judge a book by it's cover, but I agree- Chima certainly sounds better.
  5. According to Brickset, we'll be getting two new themes next year- "Speedorz", and "Legends of Chima". I can't say Speedorz does much for me, but Chima sounds interesting.
  6. ...They seem to have completely misunderstood the message.
  7. Any set ever? Well, I'd have to say the original Wooden Duck, which you just can't find anywhere....
  8. I've always wanted to play one of these, but I don't think I really have the required time and motivation to keep this up for a month ATM. Still, I'd love to play sometime in the future.
  9. Can you say, "YEEEEEEEESSSS!"? Friends will be continuing for quite a while yet...
  10. Definitely a step up from Sensei Wu's hat from the Ninjago game.
  11. If you don't get why people hate clone brands, just take a gander over this way...
  12. If this has been mentioned before, I apologize for reposting it. If not.... http://images.wikia.com/lego/images/4/4d/PTRU1-13020288enh-z6.jpg
  13. You know, you have a very good point!
  14. The Scarecrow... Wow. That is the most amazing.. Wow.
  15. I'm probably the only one who wants Carrie Kelley.
  16. ...The characters aren't necessarily exclusive, the only source we have for that is what one person on fbtb says (if there's another source, correct me). Last year, we had three con exclusive figures, Superman, Green Lantern, and Batman. Two of these characters have already been released in regular sets (Superman exactly the same as in the promotion), and GL was featured as an Ultrabuild. The odds of these characters (particularly Venom) remaining exclusive to the promotions seem extremely low. I suppose we'll have more information about that once the Super Heroes figures are displayed tomorrow, though...
  17. As I said, here.
  18. I'm going to have to agree with you on every point. (wouldn't that mystery minifigure be the human guard, who cried when the Rancor was killed? EDIT: Ah yes, Malakili)
  19. I'm going to ignore the fact that I pointed it out to you, and just say that they look awesome. (Source image: link)
  20. I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you, just pointing out: *cough*TeamGBMinifigures*cough*
  21. Even Stephanie cannot be as awesome an avatar as Auntie Jane. :P

  22. In my experience, a lot of the joy that comes from owning an exclusive minifigure is crawling into a dark cave, fondling it, and hissing "My pressshioussssss...". (Although, maybe that's just me....) A version of any of these minifigures made widely available removes from their appeal... Anybody can own a Superman minifgure now, but when he was only available at NYCC, he was "special". The entire point of the exclusive minifigures is to be a marketing gimmick- to raise awareness and anticipation of the Super Heroes sets. Judging by the reactions of most of the people here, it's working astonishingly well. If you want LEGO to stop making exclusive minifigures like these, stop complaining about them. Because anybody who has an opinion that you disagree with is automatically wrong. Must be nice.
