    Thanks for the reply. Seems like you have some deep knowledge on legos. Sometimes I think people get caught up in a bidding war with those auction sites so its hard to tell what has value and what doesnt. Hopefully it went to a collector that appreciates it. My 5 year old son started playing with legos more so for me, im just on the hunt for mixed pieces he can build random things with.

    There was recently an auction for vintage legos. The photos arent great but you can see a lot of minifigures. The ending bid was $400 for the box. I didnt bid on it, I just couldnt believe what the end price was.
