A toy store near me is selling this for around US$10 and no one seems to be buying it. Maybe I should start a thread selling it for US$15-20 Anyway, for what I paid. I'd say it's a good set, great playability and they did great with the pedestal. Although they should be able to do better with the goat design. That animal looks like it has some kind of sickness. And then there's the "Is it a goat? Or Sheep?" 1 hour discussion I had with my friends, but that's a story for another thread....

Ooh, nice... Please let me join. This'll be a great first time on a community build.

Looks good! I wish I could make something like this... A calmer coloring on the barn would be great, though...

Just beautiful!! Seeing this truly make me regret missing all the Batman sets when it came out....

Thanks for all the pics, def! I don't think I'll go this time, though... The MOCs are nice, and that white city is as great as I imagined it. But...,I was hoping for a bigger event if I'm gonna use the plane and all. (Although I never been to a LEGO event, I was expecting TGS or Comicket size scale of an event) Again, thanks for all the infos so far, though! LEGO event or not, if I ever go there or you here, we should get together for lunch or something. For now, see you in the forums...

LEGO® CUUSOO 空想 - Turn your model wishes into reality
Reagen replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Maybe you made a mistake on the dates when you signed up? Because I didn't get that e-mail from LEGO... And, I LOVE the Western Town, SilvaShado... Great work! -
First of all, Happy New Year, Def! Thanks for all the info! I managed to get a 4-day-off of my choice this month by working like crazy during Christmas and New Year! And, I checked the Skymark sites, you ARE right! And I can get 3 days in the hotels for as cheap as 6000 Yen! So unless some other thing came up (Meaning better ways to spend a birthday than going to a Lego event in Hokkaido), I guess all is going fine, and all I have to do is book all of those. My plan is to go on the 13th, go to the event, and have some drinks/walk around the city after that. So, when are you going? If you're going earlier (Since it started today), can you check and see if the event is worth the trip? Thanks for everything, Looking forward to hearing from you!

Plane is WAY expensive than I imagine it would be!! How come going to Korea is cheaper?! Strange Japanese flight system... Anyway, a friend may be able to take me to Yamagata. And then I plan to go by train all the way to Sapporo with the 'Seishun 18 Kippu'. Even though there's no Shinkansen, regular train from Honshu is available, right?

Thanks for the info! I just looked into it and find out that it even goes as cheap as 4500 Yen! Just need to contact my travel agent friend to check the transportation prices. Plane or Shinkansen.... Now that I'm 80% going, really looking forward to it! Anyway, are you participating in the Building event too? It's sometime this month...

Wow, I wish I could be there... -
Well. I'm from Kyoto. And I plan to go if I have enough money...it'll be my first event too! Do you think accomodations and transportations prices to Hokkaido will go up during the winter season?

Greetings, Lego fans and forum members. I'm Reagen from Japan, and I just started Lego lately. Well, accurately I did have some Lego when I was a kid, but as I grow up I forgot about them. Now, 10 years later, I'm drawn back to Lego trying to find a good Christmas gift for my girlfriend. I accidentally passed a Lego speciality shop (LEGO Clickbricks, maybe Japan only?) and found out the store have a service that allows you to write words on Lego blocks. That's it! I'm making her a Lego diorama with a message! And put it on a cake! As the story goes, I bought some new sets. And as I build and unbuild stuff, I remember how I love this! Now I can't wait to go back to my parents house and get all my old blocks! I also did some research and was surprised at how Lego has evolved! Digital Designer, Lego Universe, Ninjago system, and of course Lego Cuusoo! That website sure opens up new dreams for me! Who knows Lego can get this big?! I am now aiming to be good at making Lego dioramas, especially at old Japanese themed stuff. And surrounded by the masters and architects in this forum, I know I will be someday. So, I'm looking forward to communicate with everyone in the forum. Lastly, here's some questions: 1. Like I said, I wanted to be good at making old japanese themed dioramas. Does anybody have a tip how to start? 2. And also, any sets recommendation? Thanks for reading! See you in the forums!
