Wizarding World 2026 - Rumors & Discussion

Learning that the new sets are movie based has me even more put out that there is no HP advent calendar. I’ve had one every year -

That looks awesome. It’s so hard to hold out for Back to Hogwarts or a sale! I finally just ordered the Main Tower -

For some reason, HP sets are usually the last to leak. My guess would be September for January sets. But we first heard about the Hospital Wing in July so who knows. We didn’t start getting details about the Hospital Wing until October and pictures in December. This was the timeline for most of the January sets last year. -

Sure they have! Not typically but it’s been done; the Beauxbatons carriage, the House Banners for Slytherin, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff, Hogwarts Moments books for Potions and Herbology, poly bags like Quidditch Practice (the one with Cho) and Draco in the Forbidden Forest, GWP like ROR, Gringotts Vault, Borgin and Burkes Floo, the Wizarding World mini fig accessory pack (man I wish we could more of those!) plus all those buildable things like the pixie, Buckbeak, Dobby, etc. -

What about using Tom’s torso instead of Draco? I know it’s the wrong length legs but at least you would still have Draco for the scene. I have 3 poly juice potion mistake sets so I might use those versions for Crabbe and Goyle. -

Lots of people saying HP gets more than SW and DC but we are sadly not even getting an advent calendar this year I always thought SW did pretty well and Marvel looks to do well. I don’t really know anything about DC sets. There was hardly anything released for Stranger Things but I was very pleased with the Upside Down (Byers House) and the Creel House when they were released. Is the general consensus that HP gets the most attention and/or new prints/moulds? -

This!!! ^^^ I just find it wild that the Hospital Wing has no Pomfrey. It’s the hospital. But the set has more focus on the DADA classroom in which they give us the brick built spider instead of the boggart Snape. When I pointed it out many said I could buy them on Bricklink and/or raves about all the great new molds we are getting such as the patronus, flying fawks and basilisk Don’t get me wrong, I love the new molds but I would rather pay a bit more to have the obvious characters included. Honestly it should have been two separate sets to do the Hospital Wing and DADA classroom justice or it should have been a much bigger set. Plus DADA, Hospital Wing and Ravenclaw are all based in towers. -

I think not including Pomfrey is a huge miss considering it’s the hospital wing. Boggart Snape would have been so much better than the spider. The set for The Office included 15 new mini figs and it was only $150 Canadian. I wish we still got those types of numbers! -

I would love a 3rd HP CMF series! Preferably not series based though. They should include some of this waves omissions such as Pomfrey and boggart Snape. So glad I have the previous versions but can never have enough! I’ve never used bricklink, may have to try that. For the chocolate frog cards I started buying a bunch of those ‘build your own Hogwarts’ polybags - I would try to look through them at Toys R Us when they had them in stock (not that often). I do have a complete set It’s just recently transitioned to paper bags in Canada so if they are included in a future bag it’s a gamble like the sets. -

I agree they might be weird to have in the girls bathroom and the chamber but they definitely could have fit another in the Slytherin common room and another on the right side of the library. Even Hagrids Hut had 2. Back when it was chocolate frog tiles, the Gryffindor dorm had 4. -

Ok, don’t get me wrong I am very excited for the East Wing - but is anyone else disappointed that it only has 4 collectable portraits? Feeling a tad ripped off considering how expensive it is. I mean the Main Tower is less expensive and has 6 and the Great Hall is even less expensive and still has 5! How will I ever get them all? -

Unless there is a great GWP going on I don’t plan to buy anything day 1. I do plan to buy the East Wing, Knockturn Alley, Dumbledore’s Office and Expecto Patronum when I can find them at a better price and/or on sale. Hopefully Costco will carry some of these sets in Canada, that is where I usually find the best deals. Ministry of Magic might be a day 1. I will skip Norbert, Dobby, House Crest and Magical Plants. I like them but not enough to drop that kind of money on them. Plus space is limited, I would probably never build them. My list of sets to purchase from previous waves includes the Main Tower, Hospital Wing, Luna’s, Sorting Ceremony, Hagrid/Harry’s Escape, Caldron Classroom and Sorcerer’s Stone. I’m hoping for some good Prime Day deals for these sets and often Lego and Costco have competing sales during Prime Days. -

I love the East Wing and Dumbledore’s Office but man they are pricey! In Canada it’s 379.99 for the East Wing and 179.99 for Dumbledore’s Office. Hopefully I find a sale eventually - I’ve been holding out for a deal on the Main Tower but I’ll soon have to bite the bullet before it goes EOL. -

Minifigs are definitely not proportional to set price. The Office set had 15 new minifigs for $150 Canadian (not sure what it was USD, maybe $110?) Way better value than say Quality Quidditch Supplies & Ice Cream Parlour with 6 minifigs at $130 Canadian. I do love that there have been some great little play sets that include 4 minifigs in $20-30 range like the dueling club, sorting hat ceremony, privet drive escape. -

So is this what we are expecting for the East Wing? (The bit I have circled, minus the hospital piece on the left). Looks like a decent size and depth, I can’t wait to see what they squeeze in there!
