  1. Exactly. The detail far more dense here than it is on the X-wing. The wings especially in comparison are far more impressive.
  2. Well the mini modulars sold out after 1 minute or so. Apparently my order went through but I'm not holding my breath.
  3. www.shopforme.com.au are having one of their blitzathon days. New deals every hour. First up is the Town Hall for a very respectable 25% off. That's the cheapest we'll be getting it here for a while.
  4. I eyed this set for a long time before I eventually caved. The absurdly high price (you guys in the US thought you had it bad?) was a pretty significant deterrent but at the end of the day this set is too good to miss. Literally the only downside I can think of here is the price. It should either be around 30% cheaper or bigger in size. The wing design is pretty great and IMO has the best "swooshability" of any Star Wars ship so far. I'll contribute some pics: Only 3 figs but who needs more when they are this good?
  5. Was the FB always $300rrp here? I remember it being $250 in the beginning at least (like the Town Hall was) and then they jacked up the price. It's a pretty absurd mark up considering it has always been $150 in the US.
  6. $150AUD is a bit of a stretch when the US RRP is $200 in the first place.
  7. No one has mentioned Darth Maul's head yet? That thing is hideous.
  8. It's actually a decent price for us when you consider it's the same price as the Pet Shop and $30 cheaper than the FB/Town Hall.
  9. $270 at shopeforme.com though your friend missed out when it was $250 (the old rrp) on Shop@home with free shipping and the TC14. The Town Hall is probably the hardest thing to get a decent deal on at the moment.
  10. Target Southland had a stack of R2D2s so I'm guessing it's going to be very easy to snag one for $200 on thursday.
  11. So is there anywhere to get the Monster Fighters sets for a decent price yet?
  12. Yep, only $12 shipping. Add "T4T8J4A" in coupons for another 15% off. Weathertop ends up at 52USD shipped with is pretty good.
  13. Pretty awesome if it stacks with the Lego discounts they already had in the cataloh. Is it true that Spongebob sets are a Target exclusive?
  14. Any word of our Shop@home is getting any of the deals this week? I can't see the free shipping, mini Sopworth Camel or double VIP points deal other regions are getting. Also, any seen Spongebob sets in Melbourne?
  15. Really struggling to find a decent deal on Shop@Home to snag the Hulk minifig. I really want it but its hard to pay Australian RRP and shipping on top of that. What is up with the exorbitant shipping rates? $35 to ship the T1 Van from Sydney to Melbourne via snail mail? Really?
  16. Definitely some weird stuff going on with the emails. I got a notice apologizing about the delay in processing orders several days after I got a shipping notification for my Town Hall order.
  17. My original order still says "customer service" and I have the mysterious blank order as well. Seriously confused.
  18. Hmmm I ordered the Town Hall late Sunday night and in the order status is says "customer service". It's still in stock according to the site so I'm guessing theres something wrong with my details (can't see anything wrong though) or they ran out of TC14s. Does it mean I have to contact customer service myself?
  19. I just noticed the Town Hall is only $250 on lego.com. Isn't the RRP $270? The US RRP is $200 which makes the disparity minimal by our standards. Combine that with free shipping and the TC14 minifig and it seems like a sweet deal for a new set, especially now that R2 is sold out already.
  20. Damn, I was hoping it would be less than 1.
  21. Anyone know how long shipping usually takes from lego.com?
  22. For anyone interested DJs at Southland has a shitload of Pet Shops and Fire Brigades. Got a Pet Shop for myself.
  23. Anyone know which DJs in Melbourne have stock of the Pet Shop?
