FYI Amazon is shipping Benny's Spaceship to Australia and the expedited shipping is a very reasonable $25. It ends up being about $135 which will be cheaper than what it sells for here anyway. Really no reason to wait for the local release.

Same, August is atrocious. Australia really got screwed with TLM.

Any word on when the next wave of TLM sets are landing here? Frothing at the mouth looking at Benny's Spaceship, and the other two sets are pretty good too.

S@Home has always been pretty terrible with deliveries. I love how they don't let you preorder and then take an entire week to process the one you made on release day.

Ordered mine on the 1st. Still has its status as "In Process". I got a receipt on the 7th and a tracking link which says its tendered. Still no sign of the actual package.

It's 20% off until October 14 actually. Have they ever stacked before though? Seems too good of a deal.

So it's unreasonable to assume that buying some from the Australian website should be shipped from there? I don't think it's a stretch for a company the size of Lego to have a warehouse here where they can directly ship their products from. The RRP is fine but if I'm paying it then the product should come from here no? $45 for postage via snail mail is miles more expensive than what other overseas are offering. It's pretty obvious that Lego are deliberately taking advantage of people who are desperate to get their products on release and have no other options. Shopforme will ship it for $9 and you will get it in 2 days. Too bad they won't be able to get it for weeks. This is the sales thread so obviously we are going to talk about the cheapest way to get things.

Great news. The aussie RRP is reasonable so it will be at a great price during sales.

Yep. They'll get it by the end of the month I reckon. The shipping rates on S@H are absurd considering it takes 3 weeks to arrive half the time.

No worries. I agree with you. I was expecting this to be $200 given the prices on the the other flagship sets but I guess not having the licensing fee made it cheaper. Jabba's Palace for $200 is absurd.

Can confirm K-Mart Southland have the Castle for $119 which is not bad at all. Basically 20% off. Shopforme has it for $105 but it's listed as preorder and when you factor in the shipping the price is practically the same anyway. Haven't seen any shops with the Frankenstein in stock yet though.

I seem to be the opposite of most people here. I've always liked the theme itself but the sets haven't appealed to me due to their small size. This set however looks amazing and right up my alley.
