  1. Wonder what "Motorised unit - chassis based car model" means... are they ditching individuale motors in favour of something like the lego revuelto or porsche? With 5.4k pieces this will be a heavy model, if they actually manage to lift it using pneumatics it would be extremely impressive
  2. Feel like an r8 has to be coming eventually. They did a speedchampion and a small technic model
  3. So we have speedchampion and mid size technic audi r8 from cada, a big 1:8 model has to be coming soon
  4. Thoughts on the new glow in the dark dino sets?
  5. Barweer is actually a trusted reseller. Shipping is high but it includes all taxes and other misc fees, never had to pay extra customs. For train/sea shipping where weight is not a big factor you buy an X amout of volume in the container and can include multiple sets within those 119$ so its great for bulk orders in the long run. Sets without original box is mainly to save on shipping cost and is very effective for plane shipping because you pay for "volumetric weight" when shipping via plane The only umpleasent experience with barweer has been the order taking ~10 days longer to arrive but other than that it has been good
  6. Looks unfinished to me. Both, the rear portion and the chassis should have used more parts. On racingbricks video, when he plays with the suspension you can see trought the model. That shows how barebones the set is behind the panels Hopefully the redbull set will be better since it has more parts
  7. By far the best f1 car in the market. The only thing lego has left is big f1 tems licenses, thats it
  8. Hoping its fully rc like the amg one. That wire may be just for led lights who knows...
  9. 1:8 cars are meant to sit pretty on shelves, enjoy complex building techniques and play with the functions every once in a while. Among all the gimmicky functions, i can see myself taking the car for a spin around the house more often than playing with manual fanctions/gearboxes. Unless you live in a mansion the speed is good enough to have some fun with it and put a smile on your face
  10. With Barcelona being listed in the licenses i wonder if the Camp Nou will be the next stadium, definitely more iconic than the juve/man city stadiums Assuming its a hypercar will it be a Porsche 918?
  11. Beautiful set with a lot of attention to detail although i noticed that in the second pic the wheel seems to be touching the panels behind. Wonder if that will affect the motorization or if it will be a static set
