  1. A tie advanced you say. Well well, thank you john lego for reading my message from a week ago.
  2. I'm dying for a TIE Advanced with a Tarkin figure. I have the regular Tie Fighter, Bomber and Interceptor and the ONLY other TIE vehicle we're missing recently is the Tie Advanced *slinks away into the trees cackling*
  3. This is less of a wishlist and more of a prediction question that I don't want to pollute other threads with. What do you guys think the two UCS sets next year will be? I'm honestly not sure where Lego goes from here. I have to assume lego doesn't want to do the same UCS set any more frequently than every like 10 years (with the exception of the death star I suppose since that's been 9 years but who's counting) because it's a big set to waste money making if people are bored of that set or most people who wanted the original are still around with the same model with not enough improvement in lego's techniques to justify a new one. Even the X-wing seems to have to wait at least 10 years between releases. So with that in mind there's not a great deal of MAJOR vehicles they can do. Now of course they can do everyone's favourite secondary vehicle, things that are iconic to particular eras that don't stand out accross the entire franchise, things like the Gunship, The A-wing and such those sort of second rate vehicles (and I don't say that as a hater I love both of those but they're not X-wings, tie fighters or millenium falcons are they?) but the real question is WILL they go a little deeper cut? They've certainly shown a willingness to with the Venator but it's hard to predict which of this class of vehicle they'd pick. I think good predictions based off of Lego maybe wanting to capitalise on Imperial fans with the death star could be the Tie Fighter or perhaps more interestingly the Tie Advanced. Either of those could make solid $200ish sets. Alternatively I suppose they could do the Super Star Destroyer but that feels unwise since you've already gotten $1000 out of your most dedicated imperial fans it might not be wise to immediately try like a $500 set of the same faction. I think a really FUN option would be the Sandcrawler, Lego could do a lot with a set like that in this day and age where $500 UCS sets are fairly common. The B-wing might be another remake they could do, it's been 13 years but I do worry the B-wing may have been somewhat drowned in relevence by all the recent star wars projects (and the resurgence of the prequels) to the point there might not be interest in a $200+ B-wing. It's also been a hot minute since the last UCS Tantive IV. Another option that sticks out to me is a remake of the Obi-wan's Starfighter from Ep 2, it's been 15 years and with the UCS Jango Fett's Boba Fett's Starship it might be a good pairing if reasonably priced. TL;DR 2026 $200 UCS Set Prediction Options (From most to least likely IMO, 1 being most likely) 3. Obi-wan's Starfighter 2. TIE Fighter 1. TIE Advanced 2026 $BIG MONEY Set Prediction Options: 3. Sandcrawler 2. SSD 1. Tantive 4 Also I'd love another UCS clone vehicle like the Gunship, perhaps a Juggernaut, AT-TE, or one of the starfighters. I just think it's unlikely. Let me know your predictions.
  4. The last AT-AT was $170(I want to say in 2020, but i actually can't remember if this was one of the sets that got a price increase in like 2022). If they do a $100 AT-AT (which is the rumored price point of one of these) that's going to be CRAZY undersized by 2025 lego pricing standards. Same goes for the razorcrest. That was $140 so again it'd be undersized at $100. I'd HATE to see what lego would do if either of these sets were the $70 set. Also both previous models were 10+ so they would have to be simpler to reach 7+ as well.
  5. Because I have a severe mental illness I went back over the last 10 ish years to find the majority of sets that are a 7+ rating and came back with two major categories, with one being more likely. The two major categories that kept coming up were medium vehicles (A great deal of the starfighers and interceptors were 7+, as were the last vulture droids, tri fighters etc along with the republic fighter tank, landspeeder, the aat, pod racer and a-wing) The other category was buildings/scenes like: 75386, 75299, 75270, 75269, 75259, 75246 and 75229. So my guess based on it being rebellion and empire would be some kind of buildable scene for both (since $70 and $100 are very high costs for medium vehicles) just as an example, a hoth base set (to go with the two rumored at-at's) or perhaps endor bunker to go along side some of the episode 6 stuff. I also have to imagine Lego might want to disperse some of their new Imperial figures from the death star into a cheaper set. Perhaps a playscale deathstar scene with a bunch of the named imperials. Alternatively, I considered the possibility of a spiritual successor to the old Ultimate Space Battle set. A couple jedi starfighters and CIS fighters in one big set. But since the rumours are empire and rebellion my dreams are crushed.
  6. Um it looks almost exactly how it ACTUALLY looks in star wars now and not that pinheaded abomination we've had since like 2010. It's a major upgrade if you care about accuracy.
  7. He clarified that it was just the first pic he found of bly on one of the leak discords.
  8. I didn't even like the sequel trilogy but some people can dislike things without making it everyone elses problem. Anyway, does anyone know if there are any sets rumoured for March? I haven't seen any and that's unusual for the lego star wars release patterns (these days). and as a side note, personally I hope Lego does make some more non-clone sets next year. I'm a certified card-carrying clone-bro (I own at least 5 grey baseplates, that's at least level 30 cloomer. Although I'm banned from the circlej*rks because I like helmet holes) but I just feel bad for everyone else this year. I'd still like a liiiil something next year but hey if it's 95% original trilogy (or god forbid, some sequel trilogy) that'll just save me some money. Although regular death troopers and Tarkin are still on my list of stuff I'm holding out hope for rather than buying the older ones. It has also just occurred to me that I don't actually own a farmboy Luke figure. 1500 Minifigs and I forgot to buy Luke Star Wars himself. Can't believe I'm saying this but I could go for a Luke's Landspeeder right now. GIVE ME THE BATTLEPACK
