I whisper to the party I think we should tell him we were attacked by Julian's kidnappers, and they tried to take the ingredients. We didn't want to risk them falling into the wrong hands so we destroyed them. We fought them and won, and brought Julian out of the cave just before it caved in. All of it is true, so I think that would be a satisfactory answer. -

The length of these tunnels seems to have grown, I don't remember it taking this long on the way in. -

Thanks Atramor, I quickly swing Ringil on my back and grab the cutlass Now let's get out of here! It looks like our quest is a success. I remark as we head out of the cave. -

Well that went well, everyone should get 16 gold and I think the rangers could use the potions. I wouldn't mind having the cutlass, it would boost my attack a fair bit. As to the decision at hand, I for one do not want the plague in any ones hands, even if they don't use it for evil someone could steal it. So I am for destroying the plague and getting out of here. We were hired to find the boy, getting the ingredients was an extra. I remark as I fill my sword with a potion -

Everyone gets one of them. I shall use my nostrum and attack Turbaned Warrior (Hand Cannon) B from the front row And I guess we know they don't really want to destroy the plague -

Yes let us burn it. Then we can be sure it will not be used for evil purposes. I don't see why we can't destroy the items right here with you; unless you are trying to make the plague. If you don't want to burn the whole book we can just burn the pages with the stuff about the plague on it. We don't want the plague any more than you do, and we don't trust the Guild with the ingredients. I say using my skill of diplomacy -
This made me laugh so hard. By the way did I ever give you permission to call me Glorfy? JK.

I agree keep following the compass til we get somewhere. -
The turban missing in the battle scene had me stumped for hours

Might as well keep following the compass at this point. So straight ahead. -

Well lets follow the compass. Good memory Atramor I just remebered this, Gillian says he didn't see Julian, his father did. So how did he know he had a white turban? Unless his father told him, which is rather unlikely. He must have lied. -
Exactly my thoughts, I even remember thinking that is a strange object. But it never dawned on me that was the turban till I went over the pictures again. You know what is weird though, in the battle scene it is gone!

I have already been over it, though not quite all of it. One thing that stood out was the he did not even ask about the ruby at Mandrel's.

How much did it cost? And when did he first mention wanting it? Is there any sort of group that uses a white turban to signify membership? -

No not yet, was there anything special about the turban he bought? And is it usually worn by a certain group of people? -

Excuse us for being so suspicous Dr. But it is rather startling to find out someone is recreating the gray plague! One more question, does Julian make any money working for you? Turning to the group I whisper I still think there is something fishy about making the plague, but we can probably get more cooperation from him if we pretend to trust him. Maybe we should head to Mandrel's and see if there is anything special about the turban he bought. -

Surely the ransom note said where to put the money. Maybe we can set a trap. -

Using my diplomacy skill I ask some questions Dr. have you ever heard of the Blood Paw gang? Do you really think someone would want a sample of a plague just because they happen to collect samples of plagues? If they did why would they be in such a hurry to get the ingredients? You tell us Julian's blood may be on our hands if we don't save him. What about all the people this plague could kill, do you really want all their blood on your hands? Don't you realize how much is at stake here? Now do you realize why we need to know who you are working for? Julian is quite likely captured by your employers, if you want us to save him we are going to need to know what we are up against. Also we need to have a look at the ransom note. -
Ok thanks, I just wanted to make sure. And now that I know that, I won't need to ask in the future.

Unless his clients have Julian and those ingredients; so when we give him the stuff we got he gives it to them and they contaminate everyone. I think you should try your compass once more while thinking of Julian. It has to work at some point. And once we find him it should be a lot easier to figures this mess out. I put my nostrum into my sword and decide to give it a name -

Well personally I have a feeling that the two are tied together. However what to do about either is a little more difficult question. We have found out the Julian was seen at three of the five shops and bought a turban. But that was a week ago.
