  1. I will have to check those issues after I build it I guess. But since i have 3 other sets to build before that it may take a while. Like I said steps have changed in the physical instructions. I can't even find the instructions I have online, only an outdated version and on EE site I couldn't find the instructions at all. D195 is now D190 so that is enough for me to see that more things changed. Makes me wonder what was exactly changed though. And till I build it I rather not spoil myself and go over every page side by side to spot the differences CADA made. It could be related to the earlier mentioned issues. But I am happy that CADA changed the set instructions to fix the issues from the fixes pdf at the very least.
  2. This post is regarding the CADA version and the fixes PDF (v2.2), according to the rules I found this post should be legal, if not let me know and i will remove it. TLDR: fixes pdf (v2.2) no longer seems needed at all, CADA has everything fixed, see below for all changes I found from the fixes pdf and some interesting bits. Al right I bought this set from CADA last week and it arrived this monday. I had before hand already prepared myself to use the fixes pdf and buy some lego parts to fix some parts. Just to be on the safe side before i order a bunch of parts for another project of mine I decided to crosscheck and see if what is changed in the actual physical cada instructions of this set. Long story short everything seems fixed from that document, from what I can tell changes have been made on other places as well but can't pinpoint to those now as I do not know what the original instructions made by Thijs used to be. There is 1 part which I am not sure how it as they completely redesigned the connectors to the wing being much more simple now. So till I have build it I can only assume as it is fixed. Everything else yeah is def fixed. The fixes pdf I used: https://www.bricksafe.com/files/T_Antonie/cada-c61505-laferrari-fixesimprovements/Fixes C61505 V2.2.pdf So now what is different from the physical instructions: Step B4: Fixed as in the pdf Step B114: Fixed as in the pdf Step C25: Fixed as in the pdf Step C29+C30: Fixed by using the T 3x4 connectors split in 2. So Step C29 now asks for 4 of those to make 2 of the ones mentioned in the pdf. C30 fixed as in the pdf Step D140+D195+D203: Now here things get interesting. Since the pdf references lego parts in D140 which cada can't use they stuck to the same panels. So D140 is the same as before by using cada panels as expected. However changes were made to Steps D195 and D203. D195 is now step D190 with a much simplyfied design for the connecting part. Which is now only 2 steps (D188 and D189). A picture would prolly say more but to somewhat say how, they kept the connectinig bottom part and then only use 1 connection to go up to connect to the wing with no side connections. So much more simpler than what Thijs had designed and the original CADA redesign. If wanted I could add a picture later of this redesign. Similarwise, step D203 is now D193 with having the connecting parts made in step D191 and D192. Step D245+D294: I have to be honest, this one had me kinda laughing, does Lego have a copyright on single round open studs or something? The pdf suggests to use a open round stud to secure the tail(?) lights, instead CADA decided to use a 1x2 rounded open studded plate (see lego part # 35480 - https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=35480#T=C&C=11 ) yeah I did not saw that one coming, but hey fixed is fixed. Step F37~F46 (and indirectly while not stated in the pdf, also the steps on the other side): Oki this one is very simple fixed. Step F37 has now some parts moved over to Step F38 while it added 2 extra parts to add an extra connection to secure the wheelarch panel. Step F45 even hightlights this connection to secure the wheelarch. Same for the other side on steps F151+F152 and F160. So yeah, all seems fine and fixed now. I am really looking forward to building this now. Doesn't look like I need to get any spare parts Thank you T Lego for designing this! (PS; If there was a newer pdf from v2.2 let me know as i could not find any other one)
