  1. Of course ! I did attach the tracks using plates, not directly on the base plate: it just doesn't fit. But again with the 32x32 no issue !
  2. Never mind ! I used 32 x 32 base plates instead each time I have a switch and it is now working just fine! It is just weird we cannot fit a full switch + 1 curve within a 48 x 48 - it is just that extra half millimeter the issue. Guy
  3. Hello All !! When placing a Switch onto a 48 x 48 base plate (see picture), the straight part is fine an can be attached (in BLUE) but when I use a curve to follow the natural patch (in RED) the curved track is maybe half a millimeter too long and therefore when I force it to attach like in Blue, the inside of the track lifts itself a couple of millimeters. It does not fit !! I am new at this and I would not have expected this. Has anyone come across this ? Many thanks for your advices and recommendations. Guy

    Color Question

Zillion thanks for your help !!
  5. Hello All ! I am reaching for help for the second time as I had such a wonderful previous experience. I am new at LEGO train and I watched how to create a nice ballast. When I go to the LEGO website to order plates, tiles etc I have a choice of two colors: - Medium Stone Grey - Dark Stone Grey When watching Youtube videos, many people refers to "Blue Grey" - however there isn't such a choice on the LEGO website. What color should I be choosing so that it matches the existing color of the LEGO tracks ? Many thanks ! Guy
  6. Thank you so much Jopiek - Eurobricks is full of wonderful persons.
  7. Wonderful ! Many thanks.
  8. That was very helpful. I have followed your recommendations and placed the order for both directly from LEGO. Being brand new at this a big thank you! Guy.
  9. Thank you so much Stereo for your very fast answer !!
  10. Hello all ! Being brand new at this I was wondering whether I can run a CARGO TRAIN 60052 along with the brand new Lego train sets from 2024 (or so) . I noticed that the remote controllers are different - but doesn't bother me. I thank you very much for any help / input you would have about this. Guy Virginia, USA
