Thanks for the feedback. I love to rebuild/revamp these figures, so I think of everything I make as a work in progress. I like your idea of using the fluorescent blue Glatorian head, I know I have one in a box of Bionicle parts, I'll have to dig it out. I think I may have a Zamor Sphere that would match look better as well. I have some parts searching to do, when I find them I'll post some more pictures. The more I look at it I think I agree with you about the spikes on the feet(they are yellow but not quite the right shade, it's more noticeable in the pictures), and legs, but I like the ones on the arms so I'll be keeping those, but I would like to retain more purple on the figure, I'll have to see what I have. If you have any ideas let me know, I have loads of Hero Factory, and Bionicle parts. I like my Evo's proportions, and symmetrical appearance much better than the original though.

I thought the same, That's why I remade him into this: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=63781

I can just pop the cannon off, and replace it with another yellow hand anytime, but I really love the new cannon piece. I suppose you could imagine it as a transforming hand/cannon.

I wanted to make him, bigger, more symmetrical, and bring back purple into the color scheme. I'm pleased with how it turned out, but plan on making a few modifications soon... Edit: Version 2 pictures up now.

I bought fire lord for it's parts. After I took the parts that I wanted I was left with Parts, that I didn't think want to use on other figures, but I thought fit the Fire Lord character well. So I decided to attempt building the figure with those parts, the colored ones, as the base. I did feel it had a twisted, and corrupted appearance, and that's what I was going for. It's pose-ability is much improved. The Legs have much better range now, and are not restricted by the support on it's back. The arms also have more range, and pose-ability. It's balanced very well, I had no problems with it falling over. Thanks for the feedback. I wasn't nearly as pleased with the outcome of this figure as I have been with my other projects. If anyone has any suggestions for improvements, please post them.

I thought the original build for Fire Lord looked silly, with it's awkward proportions, antlers, etc, so I remade it. I wanted to create the appearance of a tormented monster. I added bulk to the smaller parts of the body, giving him broader shoulders, adding trans-orange parts to his torso, tanks on it's back, tubes connecting them to it's weapons, and more armor all over, so it would not have any appearance of looking weak. I added translucent fire parts at several parts of it's body to give it a look of fire emitting from within it'd body. I finished by adding chains. I replaced the antlers with the fire parts as well, I really didn't like those antlers. There is a lot "going on" on this MOC, and I was very careful to ensure that nothing inhibited it's movement, and pose-ability. My goal was to improve on the original figure, and I feel I did. Let me know what you think.

I tried some number 3 shells, and a few other things on them, but I thought they looked better bare.

Here's a upgraded Rocka XL figure I made. I reworked the legs, and increased their range, added bulk to the torso, made the figure symmetrical, and added more armor, articulation, and spikes. Let me know what you think, and thanks for checking it out.

Thanks. It's Hello Kitty.

Sure. I posted one with Furno 3.0 for you.

Thanks. I'm working on a Fire Lord, I think the original design looks silly. I'm making it only sightly larger, mostly due to giving it more articulation. I hope to post pictures by next weekend.

I added a couple funny pictures.

Added a few more pictures. Thank you Sir!

Thank you. I was going for a skeletal, and lanky look. Sure. Sorry about that. I think I got it right now.

Thank you. I really appreciate the compliment. I never thought of them as too long. They needed to be at least that long for his fingers to be as articulate as I wanted them to be, I wanted the hands/fingers to be able to pose in any hand position, and produce any gesture I could imagine. I was very pleased with the length, I thought it really added to the scary look I was going for.

I'm using the username acidophilus, and I'm in Greensboro, North Carolina. I just signed up here. I enjoy building with Technic, Bionicle, and Hero factory parts now that I am older, I played with a lot of Lego classic bricks when I was younger, and I'm still interested in all things Lego. I set up a MOC page to share all of my creations, and customs here: http://www.mocpages.com/home.php/81246 Let me know what you think, and I looking forward to discussing Lego topics in the future with everyone here.

I wanted to make a version of Witch Doctor that was smaller, and more articulated/poseable. I also want to make it look thin, and skeletal. I gave his right hand individual finger articulation, and added a couple T-pieces to his left hand mounted claws so that they could move independently. I also made this staff longer than the one from the original design. Please feel free to comment. Hi, I just signed up here, and wanted to share some of my creations. this is the first, My upgraded Von Nebula. A wide range of articulation is very important to me so My Von Nebula has Seventy points of articulation with include fully articulated hands, and fingers. I was tiring to retain most of the original look, and feel of the of the character, and make it larger, more articulated, and and an even meaner and scarier appearance. I had a lot of fun building this, and I plan to post more of my works soon. Let me know what you think.
