  1. Dear all, after removing the bars from step 573 and the bar of step 89 I was able to reach the 8 pins of step 63. After removing these pins I was able to lift the complete top of the crane for entering the gearbox to notice that I used the wrong pins (too long) in step 73. Note: For reaching the pins of step 63 I also had to make some room by lifting (slightly forcing) the bars of step 84 from the rings below. As there were no shorter pins available, I just used pliers to cut them into the correct length. Put everything back together, and all works fine now! So, for others knowledge, there is a ‘shortcut’ to reach the gears 😁
  2. The tests during the build were all successful, but,…. I am afraid that I used a wrong axel somewhere… I will try to find a way of ‘easy’ access to the problem area….
  3. Hi howitzer, thanks for your quick response! The rotation stops with clicking/crunching sounds. You can hear the motor get in trouble and the stops. All the other functions work properly! I can not imagine that the app is causing this problem; i think it’s mechanical somehow due to the crunching:clinking sound. I am not familiar with the powerup-app, but I will give it a try.
  4. Hi all, there were no issues testing the functions of the cranne during the build, but after completing, the crane only swings approx. 45 degrees to the left and right instead of the full 360 degrees. After many (obviously unsuccessfulI) attempts, I really could use some help: Is there a way of removing the top of the crane so I can check the gear-area, without a drastic disassembly?
