  1. fair point 😁 Basically in this setup the differential is not transferring any power to the platform (black gears). In my first version it worked, but I guess in the pictured version there is too much resistance.
  2. Unfortunately my mechanism is not working. Any idea how to make this sequence from happening?
  3. Thanks! Much appreciated! I believe I just made the mechanism I needed, using a differential piece from my 8868 truck set from the nineties. šŸ˜Ž
  4. Hi, first time poster! Lacking lego technic or mechanical knowledge in general. However trying to compensate with a bit of ambition, however I got stuck. I’m building a MOC where a rollercoaster rides into a station, when it comes to a stop the following should happen sequentially: 1) raise the platform 2) lower the platform 3) open door/gate 4) close door/gate I would like the above steps to be controlled by 1 input/motor. I have attempted above using gear racks, but there is too much force on the build and I’m not able to control it sufficiently, see below picture of a prototype. Yellow highlight is where the door is. Red highlight is input. I got a bit inspiration from This post and video in that post. Any tips how I can achieve this? Or other mechanisms I can use for this purpose? The final result is to be embedded in below build. As you can see only the doors is not an issue, but combining it with the platform is. :) many thanks!
