FULLY TRANSFORMABLE Built to scale with LEGOs genuine Optimus Prime, and my versions of Megatron, Laserbeak, and Spikes Exosuit. The goal was to give Bumblebee a much more accurate G1 cartoon robot mode, and have him transform into an actual Volkswagen Beetle. Credit and thanks to Alan Yap for inspiration, you create amazing builds. For my personal version I substituted 4 of the 1x1 VW tiles for 4 2x2 VW plates with rounded bottoms. I did this to make the hubcaps look more realistic but it required cutting in order to make them fit in the wheel hubs. This isn't required and for purists the 1x1 tiles work fine. If displaying primarily in robot mode two 1x2 yellow plates should be connected to the back of the shoulder hinge to solidify the joint for posing. I would prefer these to be there permanently however it hinders the transformation to "Bug" mode. Again, not required, but definitely helpful. Includes blaster pistol. DOES NOT TRANSFORM This is my first serious attempt at a MOC, so go easy. I initially attempted a transforming version but too many compromises were required making both modes look worse than I would like. As my Optimus Prime is always displayed in robot mode I decided that an accurate robot mode was the better outcome. Includes Fusion Cannon, Energon mace, Energon sword, Blaster pistol, Key to Vector Sigma, and Energon cube. Similar poseability to Optimus Prime, but more limited in the elbows (small alterations can allow better movement) and shoulders. Has an added knee bend. Stands under his own weight, and feels similarly sturdy to Prime. A pin is included that can be inserted under the right arm to help take some of the weight of the fusion cannon when posed horizontally to attack Autobots. Built to scale with LEGOs genuine Optimus Prime, Prime might be one plate taller depending on the pose. 1543 Pieces Instructions and Part List are available on Rebrickable
