  1. I love the expressions, really sells it for me.
  2. Well done, the thing is big enough to fit some interiors inside of it so why not if it doesn't fall apart lol. I like the rounded entry way and the round chess board, oh and the lights! :)
  3. Congratulations on completion of this mammoth task Fox Hound, she sure is a beauty.
  4. Another +1 on the wanting to build list, looks great!
  5. Thanks for this, I picked up a Haunted House from Kmart today. :) Also go the Swamp creature and The Mummy whilst I was there even though they were not on sale. Edit quote did not work? TeufelHund said: "I saw the Haunted House on sale for $189 at a couple of K-marts in Queensland while on holiday. I was tempted given mum had given me a $100 Coles-Myer voucher useable at Kmart for Xmas ("for a nice shirt" she said), but decided against it in the end due to the difficulty of fitting it in my luggage and getting it home safely (plus I still have Orthanc to build). "
  6. Yes please share, when I finally rebuild this thing (moved so I packed it up) I want to put it on a wall also as I feel it is better appreciated this way. I was thinking of a drilled back mounting board with holes where each of the feet are. The idea was to tie each point near the feet but through the frame so the feet actually become a spacer. The board would then be mounted to the wall using drop in style brackets which could be pre mounted the board and the wall so you just line it up and drop it in. Is that the type of TV bracket you have shown?
  7. Nice handy work there, I also think he has a bit more of an aggressive look now which suits him.
  8. Latest update from that site said that It would be larger than the original UCS set but not a UCS set? (still only rumours) I am a little confused with that statement but I guess at around 1600 parts the original sand crawler is not that big.
  9. Top job mate, I absolutely love it! How long will this set stay intact? indefinitely?
  10. Wow just wow, that thing is amazing and I can just imagine my dogs running in terror lol
  11. Always loved the Stormtrooper, never really hated any of the SW minifigs but there is something weird about how they made Chewy (not that I have a better way!)
  12. Love the build. Do you have to do special Bricklink orders when you build MOC's like this or do you usually have whats needed on hand? I have a fair few sets but always seem to run out of certain parts when I try this sort of MOC
  13. Shop for me has 20% off the Opera House again. Is this the cheapest Aussie retailer for this set atm?
  14. Wow fantastic job, love the additional mini figs, they shouldn't be there but they seem to fit right in with that motley bunch.
  15. Keep up the good work guys, I don't post here often but sure do appreciate all the deals that you keep finding!
