  1. I've thought about the Lancer and Carrack, but the Victory-II looks a little fragile and not very robust.
  2. On an unrelated note, I'm looking at what I'd like to put in my Imperial fleet. So far I have a squadron of TIE fighters and bombers each, 3 Gozantis, 2 Arquitens, an Immobilizer, and an ISD still in the box. What other big grey triangles would be a good edition from a lore and aesthetic stand point? I was thinking of the Quaser Fire, or waiting for a Venator or Victory model. The Victory from Ky-e Bricks on Rebrickable looks nice, but I don't like the engine design a whole lot as its completely different from 75252. Getting a second 75252 is also off the table. Any suggestions?
  3. I must be stupid, as I can't find an official lego example either. I guess the only thing I can say is that they come separate in sets, the bottom part have been used on its own in official sets already, and the only way we'd be using the top turn piece is stud to stud connection. That's my argument for it being a legal method.
  4. They come disassembled, part 3679 is the upper part. I'm 99% sure i've seen them used separate like this in an official Lego set, so I wouldn't say its illegal. I replaced the boat stud with the turn plate on the MC30c and it fits wonderfully, no shaking whatsoever. Would you consider replacing the boat studs with the turn parts in previous builds? For example, I think they would do better at stabilizing the Immobilizer plates at the bow.
  5. I have made this model irl using the stud.io file, and it is very solid with the exception of the rotated fins at the middle of the ship. the two by two inverted piece does not connect well to the two by two wedge, and tends to jiggle a lot. It is the same for the ventral fins, although to a lesser degree. The two by two inverted still has trouble connecting to the two by two wedge.
  6. Have you thought about the Republic Medical Station, where you could dock a couple Peltas in it?
  7. Using the Eta-class and X-wing in the cruiser hanger and counting spaces on a screen, yeah the cruiser does look about 1200 meters. The Chimera and Eye of Sion would look awesome. The ring might not be able to support it by itself, perhaps the ring plus an additional stand on the aft of the Chimera would suffice, depending on how far back they put the ring on it.
  8. I'm just estimating with Home One's length of 1300 meters, and these seem a good bit shorter than Home One. I could be and am probably wrong cuz I'm not an expert.
  9. Yeah, the Resurgent would be around 6-7 feet long. And the Dreadnought would be awesome, although I can see that its shape would be hard to reciprocate. Perhaps the New Republic cruiser in Ahsoka would be a good one, it looks around 900-1000ish meters and kinda similar to a scaled-up MC30C.
  10. The Venator looks awesome! are you planning on making a Recusant or other CIS ships down the line? or maybe a Resurgent-class?
