this is the wildest thing ever. there is just no literal way that they can just talk about dial of destiny on lego.com without making sets, I have never seen this before bruh. Also just to be clear, temple of doom is STILL mentioned on the theme description page. So dumb and literally false advertisement unless they freaking release 77014

Mola Ram is still in the pipeline I believe, he was listed in a character list in a target description that was taken down.

It’s all just so confusing!! I saved the transcript tho just to have it for the future. And yeah it’s extremely frustrating to have a real photo of what we could have gotten. I’d rather just have never have known so I wouldn’t be so hurt by LEGO for ruining my favorite franchise of all time. ALSO I really really don’t like the “be happy with what they are giving us” argument because this is a business. We don’t cater to them, they cater to what their consumers want because the consumers are the ones giving their money. So the fact that they still have this set teased and mentioned on Lego.com in the theme descriptions is absolutely atrocious on their part.

just talked to customer service on the chat system on lego.com. The employee told me that 77014 is in fact in the lego network system as DELAYED (he even said he was looking at it as we spoke) and i asked him specifically, "so it is not cancelled"? i made sure to use very specific and straight forward vocabulary and he affirmed me that it was delayed. i saved the entire transcript... dude even said he was super excited for it to eventually release

I think it’s just better to keep an open mind. Lego surprises us all the time, and they know we want Indy. I’m still holding out hope. Would be really heartbreaking to just get these 3 sets and nothing else. Nothing is certain. And what’s even more frustrating is that LAN members say that temple of doom is most likely cancelled but still can’t give us that 100% certain answer…. That’s the most frustrating part

I think it’s fair to say that we just don’t know. While the future of Lego Indiana Jones is unknown, I don’t think it’s fair to say it’s 100% done either. I think we have a fair possibility of getting more, we just don’t know how much. Plus the constant campaigns and stuff on Instagram and other social media hopefully will let them know that fans want more Indy. This works with Star Wars all the time.

yeah that's where I am at. AND minisuperheroestoday (a LAN member) told me that that's what he thinks too... that DOD sets are "almost guaranteed". If not, why would they revive the theme in the first place?! He still doesn't know for sure tho

I personally cannot see them only coming out with 3 sets for this big of a revival with the contract/license/investment that comes from disney.

pretty hard to do that when we have a literal image of what we could have gotten. It's going to forever change my view of the company :/

Honestly I have been thinking for weeks about the 77014 set... and I have literally thought about every possibility as to what happened to the set and honestly, the most logical thing I can possibly think of is that there is something wrong with it, and it needs to be fixed before production. Think about it, it wouldn't make sense if it was controversial because they already had the green light to make the temple of doom by lucasfilm. And the fact that they even began designing it, says that they knew it was acceptable. Plus they had already made the set in 2009, this was simply a remake... They had designers spend months creating the temple of doom, creating new art and molds for the minifigures like mola ram and the maharaja. There is a huge process that goes into designing sets. And there are brand new colors of already existing pieces specifically for this set, such as the tall maroon tentacle like pillars on the sides. The figures were done, the design was done, the box art was done, literally every single thing that needed to be done for the set to be produced was done. Therefore, there literally had to have been a flawed issue with the set that just wasn't seen Or maybe they wanted to change some of the box art. I just can't wrap my head around it, how could they come that far then just decide to cancel a huge investment like that, with new molds, minifig prints, and everything else.They literally have to be re-designing it or something. I know that I am biased and desperately want the set to release, and everyone is saying it's cancelled. It probably is, i just really want to hold out hope

I’ve seen multiple rumors floating around from different places that the ToD set has been found on target street dated for august 1…. Is this true?? Where is a source for this?

I also just talked to the Lego customer service on the website today, they told me that he couldn't give me any information on the temple of doom because "it is a secret" and to "stay tuned".... I can post screenshots. I REALLY DO NOT THINK ITS CANCELLED
