Well, the Green Ninja could have just stolen them from Jay. The Green Ninja might be your typical anti-hero.

The other day I was shopping in Target, and along comes a family looking for toys, probably for there family members. I couldn't really help it, but I listened to what they were saying and they were talking about how Megablocks were cheaper, so they would buy those. I almost wanted to scream at them. Why buymegablocks when there are pefectly great quality blocks literally on the other side of the aisle. So, what have you observed when it comes to a family's decision to get an inferior brand over Lego?

Nice job! Although I don't think throwing some orange and white would hurt? -
To you, what is the worst Lego Theme? Your hatred can be based on the sets, story, characters, anything. It can even be a year, or subtheme. Input is very welcome.

I'm hoping the 1.0 helmets are just placeholders.

Frankly, I think Lego should not waste their resource's on reissuing these sets. I think Lego should make new sets. I don't think Lego should go the route of Transformers, with collectors thinking G1 (in this case the modulars) is everything Lego should be and dissing on newer sets because they aren't like the modulars. -
I want to buy a lego Atlantis set. I'm going to get the temple, so which of the cheaper sets should I buy, the $10 one or the impulse one.

If there's going to be a TV episode, I wonder how the heroes will look before there upgrade. I'm guessing 2.0, since some of the heroes didn't get a 3.0 version. It would be impractical to have heroes running around in animal armor to missions that don't require it.

[MOC] Underwater Bank & Money Transfer 3661
ice dragon replied to Ninja Nin's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Nice job! Although I think it could be a little cooler if the police car had some more organic materials on it. I know it would be hard to pull off, but I think you could. -
Yeah, well the reason Lego ended Bionicle was because it was becoming too dark, story-wise. This must mean atleast SOME kids pay attention to the story.
-
I was wondering what Doctor Who was, as a lot of people on this site seem to make MOCs and scenes from this show. It would help to know what Doctor Who is.

True, but when has a system like this worked for Lego? When have they constantly repeated the same basic story for more than say, 3 years? Themes like Exo-Force and Alpha Team have only lasted a few years.
-
You know, how long do you think Hero Factory will stay? How long will kids keep buying the same story year after year? Without some kind of overarcing plot like Bionicle had, how long do you think kids will keep accepting the same basic story. (The heroes get upgraded, fight villains, come home repeat)

Hello all, I was wondering if there was a way to remove a mata head from it's eyes without damaging either of the pieces.
-
Is anyone else feeling the longing for vehicles? 1.0 had them, but ever since then it's just been action figures.
-
What I said is purely speculation.
-
Could the rehash of the old helmets mean that Hero Factory is ending? This sure is a possibility, although if this is the end, I wonder what they will use to take Hero Factory's place?
-
I think I'll buy the 'figs the cheapest way possible, as they are the only thing I really like. All of the ninja's vehicles look out of place. I didn't think Ninjago was going to become Power Rangers.

I was thinking about Firelord when I said that.

Action figure moderators, hear me out! I was thinking that this forum could benefit more with a general questions index, so I was wondering if a moderator could create one and pin it.

I just got a Tahu Nuva, and I must say it is one beautiful set. The aesthetics and colors work so much better than today's Hero Factory.
-
So Lego is now expanding it's borders to cover the superhero action figure collector, huh? While I like the concept, the sets just don't do it for me. If this line fails, I think it will be because the blockiness and overall aesthetic will alienate the action figure collector, and the overly stialized pieces will alienate Lego collectors.

Could anyone make some Super Smash Bros. Brawl minifigs? If there already exists some, could you send me a link?

I guess I should have been more specific. The two themes I'm talking about is Hero Factory and Bionicle. I forgot to throw in my 2 cents. For Bionickle, I would have to say the Mahri. When the Inika came out I realy started loving Bionicle. However the Mahri were, to me, boring. I just did not like the designs in general, and how they were built felt kind of cheap, using there older counterpart's pieces. For Hero Factory, I would have to say the 1.0 line. I know it's unfair to pick on them, as they were the first of their kind, compared to their newer counterparts they are less articulated and had less parts. Also, the pieces were good for nothing except for the use they already have.

Need simple builds ideas for 4-5 yo children
ice dragon replied to Professor Jones's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I would suggest prompting them by giving them suggestions as to what to build. This way they will learn to use their imagination.
