  1. The cowardly lion was in the Movie CMFs.
  2. in terms of $, Looking at the LEGO Fortnite characters I can think of very few items that LEGO would need new molds for that they couldn't then incorporate into their own themes further down the line. That wouldn't necessarily be the case with Animal Crossing or Mario characters requiring new heads.
  3. The LEGOCon 2022 announcement video has all kinds of licenses and themes flash up ... except DC
  4. You know the way Wizard of Oz had figures in the TLM2 CMF - do you think there's a possibility of licenses that don't have the pull power for their own run to be grouped together? I'm thinking of something like the upcoming Warner Brothers cross-platformer MULTIVERSUS which is characters from all kinds of different properties in one beat-em-up: Shaggy vs Superman, Finn from Adventure Time taking on Arya Stark from Game of Thrones, etc, etc.
  5. All I can see online is the leaked packaging with 8 characters on - so who are the other 4?
  6. Could be a Wayne Tower, with a below street-level Batcave, or a GCPD HQ with basement cells.
  7. I think there's a big difference between "crossover" and "characters briefly shown on screen to make a gag". And I'd be betting it was far more likely to be the latter.
  8. Knitted Christmas sweaters are just deemed ugly - look at Darth Vader in the last Lego advent calendar
  9. Considering Batman is the anchor for the DC line, I'd imagine if the property ever was to get a D2C like the Bugle, then the GCPD makes the most sense - Batsignal on the rooftop, cells for villains, etc Either that or a Hall of Justice.
  10. Could the pinata boy's torso be blank because it comes with stickers? Probably not, but being able to customize the figures would certainly be one way to mark the 10th anniversary/20th series.
  11. Nope. Although my local Tesco have put series 19 in the clearance section which is what they do every time a new series is imminent.
  12. Here's a thought - Disney, Simpsons, Harry Potter & DC are all licensed properties that have their own minifigure series, whereas the Lego Movie 2 had 3 figures from a licensed theme included in it's 20. Any chance series 20 could be made up of smaller licenses that couldn't justify their own series?
  13. RE: Minifigs. Has anyone else found this series really difficult to feel the bags for? What with all the figures having the new "pose pieces" and the bag-within-a-bag for the caped figures I seemed to take forever grabbing 6 ... and I wasn't even feeling for specific figs, I was just ensuring I didn't have duplicates. I'm UK & despite checking the supermarkets & toy shops they usually show up in only my local Lego Store has them so far so perhaps feeling me self-conscious about standing out in the middle of the floor made me a little more fumbly. That being said, every time I felt a Metamorpho bag i thought there'd been a packing mistake & pieces had been left out as compared to the others it feels empty.
  14. As it's the 40th anniversary of the minifigures could the 18th be a range of updated minifigures & licenses?
  15. Obviously someone on the movie liked Captain Boomerang because he was up front in quite a few scenes despite being a Flash Rogue rather than a Batman villain. Don't know if he actually appears but my Son was on the PS4 and Mad Hatter's voice / hat emporium is featured as part of a quest in the Lego Dimensions LBM game - I haven't seen if he's an actual minifigure yet.
