I am very impressed. I've been waiting for a "real" fire station since I was little. This is perfect! And as a firefighter I can say it looks very realistic, and I also enjoy all of the functions! I had to laugh at the ping pong table as that is a major pass-time at my station. And a fully stocked fridge.....that's positively funny too! We like to eat.

As a full time firefighter and part time volunteer fire Chief I am so totally stoked about a new "REAL" looking firestation. I already have eight fire stations in my lego city, but would gladly welcome a more realistic looking one. The ones I've created never seem to capture that realism I've been looking for. I hope this news is true!

Gresley. It was employed on long-distance express trains on the LNER and its successors, British Railways Eastern and North-Eastern Regions, notably the 10am London to Edinburgh Flying Scotsman service after which this locomotive was named. In its career 4472 "Flying Scotsman" has travelled 2,000,000 miles (3,200,000 km). I hope this is the real deal because that Train is absolutely beautiful.

I highly doubt any of these sets would include nazis, or especially symbols like swastikas, etc. Since Lego is based out of Europe I don't think any of those things would go over well. However, I bet they include soldiers, probably in grey uniforms that are without symbols. I personnally would love to see a couple of sets including: The car chase scene from Raiders where Indy gets stuck on the front of the German duece and a half. The flying wing from Raiders. The rope bridge and the mine cars from Temple of Doom. The possibilities are great. Hopefully this is all true!

Hey I really like what you did here. I'm going to have to do the same so I can add another crash unit for my airport. As far as yellow goes: Its a required color for crash rescue vehicles at airports in the US. It's mandated by the FAA. Just FYI. I agree with you it's ugly. The fire engines where I work used to be yellow with white on top of the cabs. We are back to red now and they look great.

I bought the hovercraft because I like the fire sets. But, being a firefighter, an actual fire hovercraft would not be practical. The nozzle reaction would actually push the boat he opposite way. A hovercraft would waste alot of fuel overcoming this. But it's a nice set.

Just thought I'd say hello. I'm 27, live in the United States of America and have been building Lego since I was five. I live smack in the middle of the country in a small town of about 1100 people.
