'ello Eurobrick! First post here!
I would like to show you my (and my brother's (CAT the Tech)) Jim Henson's Labyrinth MOC - a project very dear to me, that is a big part of why I'm an AFOL today.
It's a display piece bringing together lots of iconic scenes from one of my top favorite movies, Labyrinth.
The base is full of characters and references - Ludo, The Worm, stars (I move the stars for no one 🎶), eyed lichen, crystal balls, rocks (Rocks friends!), 13 hours clock, etc. On top is the mesmerizing Escher Room, which its multi-gravitational stairs (yes, minifigures can stand on them upside-down! Thanks SNOTing!).
Just above is the Labyrinth book (of which my brother designed the delicate binding).
Covering the stair segment are the hedges of the maze, throned by obelisks and Nipper Sticks. And last but not least, behind all of this is located the Bog of Eternal Stench... smell bad!!
The minifigures include Jareth (the Goblin King), Sarah and baby Toby!
This particular version is the second, a remake of my initial project which got me into the 10K Club on IDEAS. It's fun to see how my building skills involved since.
If you have a LEGO IDEAS account I would greatly appreciate your vote! We have only 2 months left at the time of writing this to reach the next milestone! https://ideas.lego.com/projects/3c7af656-25a9-48c6-b463-77c15c50cdd3
