Yeah, honestly it's just a mess of aesthetics. It has the teeth from the Batman Forever version but without the bioorganic look that one had, really flimsy looking blades at the front that don't seem to serve any purpose, and most bafflingly at all it has two different colours of neon highlights, as if they couldn't just settle for one. Still, I did my best, and thanks for the kind words!

The 2022 Batmobile (from The Batman) My personal favourite Batmobile design, from my personal favourite Batman movie (though that may just be recency bias). Hopefully I did it justice! I couldn't get a very clear shot of this, but there is a black and trans-orange radiator grill between the two slats of the front bumper. Easily the Tumbler, though the DCEU Batmobile comes a close second. Both have got so many greebly angular bits and it was really difficult to capture that in this scale without over-relying on clips and making it too fragile to actually play with. In both cases I used curved slopes to get a sleeker look that hopefully captures those original angles in a cleaner way, but even that was something I deliberated over how best to do. It was also really challenging to make room for a Batman fig in both models.

I'm new here, so please forgive my appalling photography and lack of a lightbox, but I've been working on this project intermittently since 2020, and I figured that, now it's done, I might as well show it off somewhere. This is EVERY SINGLE live-action Batmobile used in movies between 1989 and 2022. I chose 1989 as a starting point because the various minifig-scale 1966 Batmobiles are all fairly decent, in my opinion, and going back further than that there's the Batmobiles from the 1940s movie serials, which are both extremely lame and lacking in reference images for me to use when building them. Technically this collection should also include the "OnStar Batmobile", used in adverts for OnStar in the early 2000s, but it's only a slight variation on the 1989 design so I doubt anyone is going to miss it ;D All of these can seat a minifigure, even one with irritatingly high bat-ears attached to their headpiece, and they're all 6-studs wide (except the Tumbler, which is closer to 7). I just prefer that as a scale over 8-wide, personally; I think 8-wide vehicles can look a bit oversized next to minifigs, but that's purely my own preference, and I wouldn't begrudge anyone for wishing these were wider. That said, building in that scale presented a lot of challenges, especially when it came to incorporating the details I wanted. For instance, all the angles and slopes on the Tumbler and the DCEU Batmobile were very difficult to convey with such small pieces, and it was a real challenge to give the Burton Batmobile a fuctioning Batrocket mode. Because yes, I included the Batrocket! I'm sure isomeone may have built a Batrocket at this scale before, but I've never seen it, and if not for pieces Lego brought out whilst I was working on this project I probably wouldn't have been able to do it as cleanly. But yeah, here's some close ups of each Batmobile! I wish I could get these trans-orange plates on the side to pop more, but there isn't space to use the technique I used for the 2022 Batmobile (layering them on top of opaque orange plates). C'est la vie... The 2005 Batmobile, AKA "The Tumbler" (from Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy) It's not my favourite Batmobile as far as the movies go, but this is probably my favourite moc of the bunch; by far the most intricate. The 2016 Batmobile (from Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League) I intentionally forwent most of the guns on this Batmobile, mainly because I prefer the sleeker look, but also because BATMAN SHOULDN'T USE GUNS SNYDER!!!! lol I contemplated using Technic panels for the wing-things so as to have fewer studs, but I didn't like how they looked.
