TRU in Schaumburg, IL had 1 box, grabbed 12 packs. They are on-sale for $3.19 each.

Anyone in the Chicago-land area see Series 8 pop up yet? I was at Woodfield mall and they were just saying September sometime.

Just checked my TRU in Schaumburg, IL (Woodfield) and they didn't have any Series 7. Still had a dismal Series 6 display w/ about 30 bags. This specific location always seems to be a little behind. Anyone else in the Chicagoland area have any luck?

I just got an extra Evil Dwarf (unopened) today if anyone wants to trade for a Graduate(Series 5), or pretty much anything from Series 3.

Almost have my set complete....but I can't find a Roman Soldier or Statue of Liberty for the life of me....

Our TRU in Schaumburg, IL has a bunch of Series 6. Picked up 8 randoms today...

The Woodfield Lego store I previously bought some at is already sold out w/ no ETA on new ones w/the exception of a few unknown shipments this week. I also stopped by our TRU and Target stores in the same area w/ no luck.

Glad to help! I opened the other packs and got 2 Minotaurs, 1 Butcher, 1 Leprechaun, and 1 Skater Girl. P.S. - I know the Lego Employee you're talking about.....he always helps out if you're looking for that specific figure!

Went to the Lego store at Woodfield Mall (outside Chicago) and they had a TON!. Kids were in there trying to feel bags. Since I was in a hurry, I just grabbed 7 packets and got out of there. I've only opened 3 but I got 1 Robot, 1 Highland Warrior and 1 Genie.

I think Santa might be bringing me a Republic Frigate...

I felt the packets at the Woodfield (Schaumburg, IL) LEGO store this morning while no one else was in the store and got a Lizard guy and Battle Dwarf :)

It appears that LEGO wants to put out 2-3 series per year for the next few years.....I'm assuming Series 6 is shortly after Christmas, and 7 will be at the end of Q2

Had a successful weekend as the Legoland Discovery center by me in Schaumburg, IL has a TON of Series 2 (along w/ 4 and 5). I got: 2 Mexican guys 1 Spartan 1 Ringmaster 1 Witch 2 Vampires 1 Karate Master 2 Skiiers

Lucked out this week and came across 2 more Mad Scientists and a Hockey Player....

Yeah....and it's my understanding that there are only a few Scientists per box

Any additional info on finding a Mad Scientist via feel? My understanding is to feel for the rubbery hair?!?!

I'm in the Northwest 'burbs of Chicago and have been to a few Target and Walmart stores and none of them have Minifigures. We've been hitting up the Lego store at Woodfield Mall, but any other locations would be greatly appreciated! I hate dealing w/ the Mall sometimes

Hey all....just joined the forums. This is an awesome resource of information! I live outside of Schaumburg and a father of 2 boys (2 and 5) and have vicariously been getting back into Lego's w/ them in the past year. It's awesome to start reliving my childhood and get back into a hobby that surrounds the greatest TOYS in the world! As of right now we're working on this years Star Wars sets and collecting minifigures, but will be branching out as the interests change! Chris
