I want to buy a set of LEGO to connect my raspberry pi with the LEGO build hat and get started in robotics.
I found this tutorial (https://projects.raspberrypi.org/en/projects/lego-robot-car/0) where they recommend some sets to build a robot car. The problem is that one of the sets that they use is the Education SPIKE Prime Set which is too expensive since it contains some hardware that can be replaced by my raspberry.
My idea is to buy two motors (https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/technic-large-motor-88013) and then I would only need the wheels and some blocks to build the structure. What set would you recommend me? Ideally it would contain wheels and some blocks to build the robot and then allow me to jump into more advanced projects. I was thinking about something similar to the LEGO Mindstorms blocks but without all the expensive hardware and electronics, since my rapberry can emulate the behaviour.
