Scrolled through the comments so far and, wow, many people on board with this reveal. I would have preferred Hedwig alone, with a nice stand, minus the ‘icons’. And if you are just collecting golden minifigs, this is tough, but I guess typical of LEGO. I’m hoping LEGO can balance the desire for display pieces and playsets next year. Both have their admirers.

Diagon Alley is on the ‘wish I could build this again’ list. What a fun build! Resist rushing it. There is so much to enjoy.👍

That Mould King set does look fab, but jeez. Outright theft. Now, if they made Gringotts…still not FairPlay because unlicensed, but tempting. I must not steal other people’s designs I must not steal other people’s designs Repeat until your hand is bleeding…

Despite the trustworthiness and past record of the rumor sources for the Icons set, I will continue to believe it can’t be true to the bitter ( and hopefully soon) end. $249 on assorted builds? So, I might like some, not so much others but need to buy the whole thing, especially if there are some interesting minifigs. I realize people buy sets for minifgs only and just sell on the sets, but, but… $249! Ok, maybe people actually did that for Diagon Alley too. LEGO money must have that play money feel, like spending foreign currency.🙄 Any other hold- outs out there, covering their eyes, fingers in their ears, wishing this set away and replaced by almost any other build? 🤞
