Hello AFOLs! Let me try to clean up a little bit the confusion around 4DBrix because some facts are mixed up here...: Tom, the owner of 4DBrix, is a great guy. He is a super enthusiastic maker, I never met someone like him before. He can design things like crazy. But in the end his day also only has 24h like ours... . Since producing all the parts for his shop took almost 100% of his time there was almost no time left for new great inventions from him. Due to the fact he is an engineer he wanted to change this situation to focus more on the things where he can make use of his skills perfectly -> inventing new awesome things. After a break Tom opened beginning of this year his new 4DBrix Marketplace. This is Toms answer to the recent guideline changes of BrickLink, because 3D Printed / non Lego Parts are no longer allowed to be offered on BrickLink. That is also the reason why the Belgian 4DBrix BrickLink shop for EU customers had to close. Right now the Marketplace has just started with some official 4DBrix Stores around the globe (EU, Australia and US). The idea is to open this platform in the future for other makers / products as well, like a BrickLink alternative for 3rd party Lego accessories. Andy from OKBrickWorks produces 9V tracks since years. Since some months he also joined the "4DBrix Family" and he started to offer 4DBrix products in the US as an official manufacturer on the 4DBrix Marketplace and on his own website. Just to be clear: Tom never "gave everything to OKBrickWorks". Tom is still doing a lot of things for 4DBrix in the background, he just distributed the manufacturing work around the globe to have more time to focus on the engineering part ;) I hope that helps a little bit to clarify the confusion.
