I am of the opposite opinion. I can't think of any reason why they would place the Hospital Wing where they did, unless they were planning a Clocktower set. The Hospital Wing has a connection point that is facing exactly where a Clocktower set would connect.
I am hoping for an L-shaped Clocktower set that encloses the quad. The tower portion itself has the film-accurate exterior facing toward the back of the display, and the quad-facing side should have a fully-detailed roof, which is the only part of the set you would be seeing over the Great Hall and Main Tower. This ensures that the facade looks good from both sides. I would propose that the first floor (quad-side) would be open, showing the swinging pendulum, and the rocky base could hold a classroom, much like the Hospital Wing set.
The set could also include a mirror-image of the Hospital Wing, enclosing the quad, allowing for three additional classrooms. This would connect to the other free connection point on the back of the Main Tower set.
I am still holding out hope that they are not wrapping up the castle before including all of the major, memorable facade locations. But only LEGO knows for sure.
