Marvel Superheroes 2023 - Rumors & Discussion
Legocentrico replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
If they managed to avoid a new Hulk even after the Quinjet I'm really starting to worry about the big figs. and I really don't understand why: someone says they "cost more" but in what sense? lego produces big pieces every day, small pieces, why does the big fig have to be a problem? plus after thanos 2021 we have a versatile model, he just needs to recolor it… the big fig was one of the aspects that fascinated me the most when the theme came out, super heroes have these huge characters and it's great to be able to get them without having to use builds . plus they have a nice design… boh ah ps. obviously we are talking about a profitable company that has also recently raised its prices. we pay for these cursed big figures, we didn't ask for them as a gift -

it's a surprise yes :-D they will be the most comfortable versions for lego, probably the most recent. and in case they are too desirable, they will apply a downgrade, as a starlord in 2022 -

Exact. like last year. last year they had the excuse of the pandemic etc. what excuse do they have this year? all this buildable nonsense doesn't make sense, 200 euros for a shield??? why don't they make the statue for 200€??? or that cursed leviathan??? we are still without hulk and hawkeye 2012, and another year without big figures. all this in exchange for groot-venom??? o.O HP team could give some advice surely… Including ww2 cap would convince many to throw €200 down the toilet (including me) HAHA sorry but thinking that lego would design a beautiful helmet when he can use the 1980 cap made me laugh lol -

Have you seen the list of summer sets? All the budget left to make Rocket, Cosmo, Groot and even a new toilet bowl mold in the Bowie. where I will throw all the super heroes sets of this crap year :-D Winter Soldier would be a dream, but by now I expect the worst from lego. So it will probably be age lf ultron lol what do you expect from the advent calendar? we have seen the two exclusive minifigures (and they suck) the others are all published, as always… -

I was hoping last year was an exception, but it seems like these buildable things are catching on, and I can't get over it... why does lego think sets without minifigures sell better than minifigures??! -

Yes, I remember, but they started on the 9th with Star Wars, I would have expected something similar for this year… I guess I'll find out within a few days, if the weekend passes without lists it means that they have changed the formula… can you tell me about these "voices" you've heard? even private if you don't want to clog the topic if the theme returns to coincide with the disney series I really think it will be based on it (and last year's wolverine could be a confirmation) -

mmm I didn't think about this, any pre-MCU sets will be based on the disney+ series which should be a continuation of the classic one, so the mansion will be characterized in the same way, or at least similar. I have to refresh -

if the drawing is old i'm happy. I wonder why include it in that survey, especially together with much more current and attractive designs... as far as the rooms are concerned, I understand your speech on the measurements, but I was referring rather to the lack of an underground floor, where in theory these rooms should be. I trust Lego's ability to synthesize and I know they could fit rooms even with little space. but without the basement, the classes and the kitchen remain? it's the home of the x-men, if you take away some features it becomes a normal boring school, and in my opinion it wouldn't make sense -

however, last year Promobricks started February 9 with summer set descriptions! It was a wednesday, today is thursday :-D we are already behind schedule!!! :-D unfortunately they had started with SW, and Marvel had arrived last at the end of the month, but maybe this year they will reverse the program :-P -

With the lab coat and more reptilian head, there are some mocs around and they prove that it would be great! I'm sure the time for the Lizard will come sooner or later, but Lego now has this problem with big figures and I don't know what we could expect… The problem isn't modular, the problem is that it looks like it was designed 10 years ago. There is only the facade, there is no depth, we do not see the interiors but Cerebro and the Danger Room are certainly missing. The subject matter and especially the minifigure selection is exciting, I hope the project hits the shops, but I wish it was much more complex than it appears (and it probably will be). Surely though, if they send THAT picture to the polls, people's reaction I fear will be cold -

I personally could kill for a similar diorama set in Spider Man or Avengers New York! With a street, a couple of buildings, the dodgy alley… God it would be a dream! Size is important but Lego has also thought about storage by dividing the areas into modules. Not everyone will be able to buy a showcase, but we can take it apart and put it in the drawers :-D I hope we get the No Way Home version to round out the team, but I'm not a big fan of the design. My Dream is a big figure version based on the comics -

Microscale :-/ Quidditch trunk, dobby, expecto patronus may not be a playset, now Hogwarts microscale. For my taste this is disappointing. I hope there are more playsets yet to be announced :-/ -

With the exposure that Cap has had in recent years it seems very strange that we have not had sets for his first films. 2021's Cap vs Hydra was the perfect opportunity to cover First Avengers, and instead they're back on Age of Ultron. inexplicably. I hope Lego has something planned, and it's only a matter of time: Red Skull's car is a set served on a silver platter. and from Winther Soldier they can take any vehicle… -

As far as we know the set has been ready for sale for a year, the fair ended yesterday and it should still be out in two months: is it possible that they have brought a model to an embryonic state??? -
Marvel Superheroes 2023 - Rumors & Discussion
Legocentrico replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Yes, so kids who can only buy one set have to play with a statue's arm :-D I don't see Lego doing such a thing. I also think that the "children" discourse is limiting: Lego produces large and expensive sets every day, without worrying about children. No Way Home is in the top ten of the highest earners ever, I don't think it had an audience of only children, on the contrary, I think the fans attracted to toby maguire and alfred molina have grown up by now. The child can have as many spiderman as he wants from lego, and also all the doc ock. I still believe that a large statue would be a good deal for lego, as well as being a very versatile subject in which to fully express all the potential of the protagonists (cobwebs, hanging people, flying people, etc.), in parallel delivering such an iconic subject that every collector would want it in their own city -

ok, it will be fake, but it is also the most logical option. Promo talks about ONE set (the second is not sure, as someone has already said it could turn out to be the mosaic, or a brickheadz, in short, not necessarily a playset). And as Promo says for Garfield, I don't think Lego waited a year and a half for a single $50 set with 4 minifigures. Two playsets would be ok, but if they were 2 traditional playsets probably Promo would know for sure
