  1. I definitely agree. Far too little city in City, it should be renamed to Vehicles. It's a pretty depressing year overall for someone interested in buildings, like me. I have little hope for any nice, small and reasonably priced buildings in Creator like the Noodle Shop and the Toy Shop. There the focus seems to be entirely on animals and objects nowadays. We got 0 city-like buildings in Creator last year (I don't consider the Haunted House city-like), the year before that we only got the Modern House and before that we got the Cozy House and Main Street. The latter was horribly overpriced for being a Creator building with no unique prints, at least here in Sweden. It also had a lot of garish colours that did not appeal to me personally. It didn't seem to sell well here since it was on sale almost everywhere, which I attribute to the price and design, not a lack of interest in buildings. Even me and my friend, who are both building-focused, waited for the 50% discounts before considering buying it. To me, there are extremely few options for any buildings at the moment. Friends has nice buildings as always, but also in not that appealing colours as usual and the minidolls are not useful. Superheroes have some nice buildings, but here you have to pay the IP tax on top of paying for a lot of not really useful minifigs. The only ones I currently have on my list this year is the modular and the airport. I guess this will be a good year for my wallet though. /end rant
  2. Well let's hope that there are some actual buildings in the CITY...
  3. Creator set 31387 will be called Legendary Pirate Ship. It will have 1,074 pieces and be released in June.
  4. A few more set names have leaked (from r/Legoleak): 60480 Yellow Backhoe Loader 301 pieces June release 60492 Passenger Airplane (4+) 118 pieces June release 60494 Dump Truck and Front Loader 1,132 pieces June release 60506 Beachside Tram June release Blue tram plus a beach build 60511 Retro Steam Train 575 pieces June release Locomotive with tender and one passenger car 60496 Pizza Delivery with Vehicles 494 pieces June release 60497 Automatic Car Wash 583 pieces June release 60510 City Advent Calendar 2026 September release
  5. It's reportedly set 60506, so it should be 693 pieces and reported as "Train" earlier in this thread. The Streetcar from 2024 (#60423) was 811 pieces. Maybe this is a little more old style tram? So the vehicle would not be that big, and there might be some seaside build to accompany it.
  6. I agree, I was more envisioning something like fantasy era Castle as well. Still regular weapons, regular uniforms and so on, only that fantasy creatures also exist. Maybe magical objects.
  7. Maybe 60494 ("No information") is a Coast Guard HQ or something? Or would that be counted as Town?
  8. I've had some similar thoughts. If a fantasy based pirates theme would appeal more to kids there is a higher chance of getting an actual new pirates line with affordable sets and not only IP's and highly expensive sets. Maybe a tie-in cartoon is needed as well, similar to Ninjago or Monkie Kid.
  9. No, I agree. I also think that with Goonies, The Black Pearl, and One Piece-sets on the shelves there is no room for any Classic Pirates set. It's sad that IPs are pushing out retro classic sets. Classic Space sets also seem to be having a bad time.
  10. Professor Kettleburn's (the guy with the wooden leg) torso in 76454 Hogwarts Castle: The Main Tower could maybe be useful:
  11. Tough luck for anyone not close to a Lego store...
  12. PaB has been updated and there are some interesting parts like the old type of palm leaf in sand green and the older looking door from 10332 Medieval Town Square. But the most important part is that the bluecoat torsos are still available!
  13. Well it won't lead to more Pirates sets, thats for sure.
  14. Hmm the lack of engagement in this thread really speaks volumes about the lack of excitement of this from Lego Pirates fans.
  15. I'm not that excited for this. Maybe there will be some boat parts that could be useful. Any sails will probably be printed according to the series so that you can't use it for other things though. The one thing I'm excited for is the opportunity to get a somewhat accurate tar hat mould from the main characters straw hat (even though it's not flat on top...).
