  1. Not gonna lie if this was the set, it would be an 8/10 for me add new adventures ivy or supergirl and would be a 10
  2. $100 is just enough for a new batman adventures batcomputer, suit rack and inevitable batmobile with nba batgirl "Comic based" I would expect to be some hodge podge of designs
  3. Actually the new tumbler looks better scaled to minifigs... but it's hard to tell for sure, still looks oversized at the back Still the "old" tumbler is a pretty nice and recent build unlike the 2022 lego batmobile- a remake of that would have been more appropriate
  4. No thats too "karen-y" for me. Firestar toys has the best looking atsv gwen now but it was like 30/40 pounds. It's best if she gets a new hair piece. And even though it's not conventional, it can be reused in city sets for diversity https://www.firestartoys.com/products/custom-design-minifigure-sh-watercolor-wall-crawler.html
  5. The new cowl looks quite ugly with that suit, sorry to the designers but it just does. Really don't want another tumbler and i foresee these figs being in a lego magazine or bricklink so possible pass Edit: for batman i can order just his torso since its the only print 🥴 Also wouldnt be surprised if "arkham" ends up actually being a nolan d2c- but i likely wouldn't have bought a 500 usd set anyways...
  6. Lego you had one job... to make a new hairpiece for gwen Hopefully atsv gwen in the cmf so i have no need for this set
  7. Well my focus wasn't really on why this theme died which has been discussed... extensively, its why i dont really miss or care for lego's previous versions of comic sets, besides the figures And many figs i just passed on because of how expensive they were to order individually because of the set prices
  8. But i guess i do hope comic sets return if only for more minifigs. Tldr they should still take a gamble and make combining comic playsets like hogwarts but the batcave (watchtower if economically viable) or more comic accurate vehicles (but for batman there's only so much you can do before it's exhausting again) Btw i have hope even young kids only buy these dumb mechs for the figures. Hope that kids would rather buy action figures if they wanted articulated figures to play and fight with. Lego should take a risk (if more people won't just stop buying them) and make smaller playsets or vehicles to replace them
  9. Was generally never interested in lego's versions of comic based sets. The first wave in 2012 had novelty and the green lantern and javelin sets were good but the rest... Like i'm not buying scarecrow's oc cropduster or another oc bat mech. A helicopter for cyborg? Nope Lego likes to choose vehicles for kids instead of playsets (even though I've suggested small combining batcave sections). Yet, in those years of comic sets they didn't really deliver enough comic "accurate" vehicles like the javelin. I guess i can understand oc batboats and mechs because there's only so much from the comics but I would have wanted an 80s/90s batmobile. There's also many other iconic comic bat vehicles like the battrain and tdkr's tank. Maybe even non comic readers would have appreciated them more because there's a stronger style and direction. Regardless these builds cranked up the price I just rather have another comic cmf
  10. They should have given us the batpod or the bat instead of the tumbler and catwoman instead of two face. The batpod is very iconic but catwoman over two face is just personal preference. I dont need another tumbler and I don't care if people missed out just a year or so ago 😭. If i buy this i might wait for a deep sale ...I would buy a dc COMIC cmf 2 on day one
  11. I dont think the critcism that gwen keeps being done to death is very "fair". Lego has only given her 1 torso and faceprint despite spamming her in spiderman sets. Furthermore, let's be honest, non-spidey chracters like x men wouldn't have appeared in those spidey based sets anyways (besides venomised versions and ghostrider for some reason, but not xmen im pretty sure because of previous merch mandates) Again, admittedly her itsv suit might be very similar so I hope to see her atsv suit
  12. Itsv gwen might admittedly be too similar, hoping atsv gwen is in the cmf despite being in the set
  13. The only figs i would have wanted from their current disney plus slate would be daredevil characters and psylocke. Yet, i doubt they would have been made If they can give gwen an accurate hairpiece, the series might be peak from that alone. (But not as peak as a dc cmf 2)
  14. I liked dc elseworlds but theres no way i'd take them over canon designs for figs.
  15. My feedback about no atsv gwen worked
  16. Part of me finds the rumor hard to believe. Don't see that many figures they could reuse, comic or btas. Regardless, if we get new figs I'd say it would be max 5 (ivy and scarecrow most likely). Maybe 2 staff members/ guards too. In that sense, it'd be a real waste if they're just generic comic remasters, especially ivy since I reckon they'll just give her solid green legs again If only it was new adventures themed
  17. 😭 is this a joke, geoff is no longer attached to dc. He cowrote ww84 with jenkins. They prob want another popculture nerd ip and here they are
  18. How long before you reveal yourself as clonecommando
  19. Furthermore, your constant emphasis on dc's lawyers (also eluded to in your most recent message) is highly strange considering lego is paying dc for the license. Lego does in fact get to choose the number of products made at their sole discretion. Most often, dc's legal side is only there to approve final designs. They do not interefere with the type or number of products made. At most, they might suggest certain sets are made for a movie's promotion but seeing how few dceu movies have gotten sets, if anything it implies they have less influence than you firmly believe. And since i just quoted the whole message, in regards to the second para again i said designers have more sway than you think, not that they can outight choose which sets are made. Daredevil is most known for his violent netflix show and is not nearly as popular as characters like Spider-man to warrant a dedicated set
  20. I never suggested its ultimately up to the designers before you went on this weird tirade because you firmly believe that they have as little influence as possible even though its a collaboration
  21. This is a license and collaboration. Lego can propose ideas for sets.
  22. https://www.tipsandbricks.co.uk/post/1389-q-a-with-designers-interview-with-lego-designers-from-super-heroes-theme The designers definitely have more sway on what sets are made than you seem to think
  23. https://www.newelementary.com/2021/09/lego-super-heroes-interview-with-design.html?m=1 The lego superhero team does have sway on what sets are made. They do seem to be bigger fans of marvel Honestly how did we even get a dc COMIC cmf in the first place.
