LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 23. Rumors and discussion
wollolo replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I can just agree with everything you said. Yet another point why LEGO looses more and more of my sympathy lately... -
Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
wollolo replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
Those ~12580 out of stock parts had been on the site for several months now (at least here in Germany). So unfortunately thats not really a sign for anything. Actually it got even worse since last week: instead of ~1400 "bestseller" parts there are only ~1000 parts left. (However, the site still shows ~12580 parts (including the out of stock parts), so maybe they just moved ~400 "bestseller" parts to "standard" list?) Anyway. since I almost only do MOCs, this mess basically brought my whole LEGO hobby to a halt... -
Ongoing Transformers Rumors and Discussion
wollolo replied to NoOneOfImportance's topic in LEGO Licensed
Looks like a set straight from 90ies. But not in a good way. And 180 Euro for 1500 standard looking pieces without any minifigs or many special and big pieces is just laughable... -
Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
wollolo replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
Yep, seems all "Bricks and Pieces" stuff has gone now. :( In Germany there are only 1415 parts left. Wow... -
I was really looking forward to the biggest set of this wave, but sadly both Dinosaurs really disappoint me. The Giganotosaurus looks completely off with this strange and unrealistic ridge on the back. What the heck is this supposed to be? Also the eye painting makes this Dino look very sleepy and not very menacing. The Therizinosaurus also looks off and not very cool to me. Pyroraptor & Dilophosaurus Transport is probably the only set I will get...

It actually does exist since one or two days. -
Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces

Good that they finally added the option to see the parts that are out of stock. However, all new parts from 2022 have disappeared since weeks, which is really weird... -

I really hope so, too. But I'm afraid that won't happen. The US prices probably didnt get updated yet. The lion also costs almost 11€ now! -

inflation is always a thing, but happens rather subtile. Some items I mentioned above have raised up to 40-100%. And it's not like these parts had been cheap before. Some of these prices are not excusable at all, imo. Just plain greedy. -

My worries seem to get reality and all the super good "improvements" LEGO does, is just raising the prices all over the place. Here are some random samples (with some things that I bought frequently/lately): 91405 All 16x16 plates ~1,80-> 2,50€ 6083 DBG LURPS 1,57-> 2,34€ 2417 Green 6x5 Leaves (PaB) 0,19->0,26€ 87079 LBG Tile 2x4 0,11-> 0,18€ 35901 Chemical Suit 1,50-> 3,42€ 38029 Erlenmeyer Flask ~1,75-> 2,31€ Many Minifig Heads 0,30-> 0,45 (a few went down 5 cents) 76382 Minifig Torsos prices raised 10-20cents 77589 Lion ~7,50-> 10,92 37364 Medium Legs 1,59-> 1,98€ (instead of going down after a year of the part'S existance!) etc... The only positive thing so far is that some legs went down a few cents. And you can purchase a white textile cloak now... for 7,58€ Bricks and Pieces always have been expensive, but some things really get out of hand. -
Marvel Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
wollolo replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Why is that curious? I'm just a general LEGO fan who is looking for sets (or parts) that I might be interested in. I don't base my own judgement on any license or not, I just buy what I like (i.e the cool looking Guardian's ship - without knowing the movie), even if its from a licensed theme that I don't like. Did that answer your question? -
Marvel Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
wollolo replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
yeah ok, thats true of course. I probably should have said "from a point of view of a non-Marvel fan"... And as such, I absolutely can't understand how some people like this cheap looking thing (maybe its because the movie prop also looks cheap) Yeah, as you can see I also really dislike the whole Super Heroes movies, so I'm surely biased, too. -

are you serious? From an objective point of view, this set is just completely boring and heavily overpriced. -
The silence regarding the fairground theme really worries me... Do you guys think we will get another ride this year?

Lego City 2022 Rumours, Leaks, Information And Discussion

The new neon yellow is just terrible. It actually hurts my eyes when I see much of this colour, like in this uninspired and lazy helicopter transport.
