@Powered by Bricks you are right man, on the box picture there are two gfx effects: swat truck hits front left door/gate and it falls inside the building. Second effect is behind that small red car, maybe there is some kind of launcher inside garage? I wonder how the heli will work... Will one rotor rotate one side and second one inversely? Hmm...

That brown barrel seems to be movable with something inside for protection. Front door are wide open. And will it be an office above it? The truck is some kind of SWAT vehicle. I am so happy Lego didn't cancel it after all. Can't wait.

Finally Crappy quality pics but here it is: As I count, it should have 8 minifigs; unique heli with working search light, police dog with harness. Very good set for us with road plates. I should get it for sure! 654 pieces for €99 as it was said. March release? I hope so!

I'm wondering... If the Crooks Hideout would be rlsd in March, we should hear some leaks at the end of January right? If summer then somewhere in April?

We (...well, my son) don't have any settled city, he just put out random sets, he builds what he need and simply has got a fun time... As fe. this rubber over the bike and lantern lol. I rly hope this will change for him with the new 2021 sets (I mean buildings). But it's true, current poor/simple 'buildings', like this bank for example will be much easier to attach to these new roads. With old plates it was always an issue because of plate height. Edit: my son's idea

Glowing pieces need some really strong light to glow, I used torch to light them up and effect was even fine @Brandon Peabarely but you can extend them if you have got enough dark grey tiles

Yep, 60292 city center and 60304 roads will arrive on Monday unfortunately. On the side note, there is totally 5 2x1 glowing pieces in this set (2 are in lanterns, 1 in the bike shop above the entrance which is frankly quite cool and 2 are unused in the service truck's box) so it's quite satisfactable and useful.

Here in Poland, new sets are already available to buy in the lego shop.

There would be no solution for that, can you imagine to buy a set where you have, let's say 'unfinished' roads at the ends? And what about with these people who would buy just one set for their kiddo. However I totally agree, Lego could give to the sets at least 2 pieces of spare tiles, that would be good. Maybe they will release some kind of Xtra bags with road stuff as someone already mentioned here.

And it is not my hope but feeling as well, 60278 will be released somewhere in April-June. 60305 and 60306 were not in leaks at all and they are here atm. You will see that hideout will be an equivalent of 60292 (city center) (size and price) and Lego will release at least one or two more sets with road plates to continue their 'new city style' mission. These are my predictions.

First review I guess:

I only hope they will be available for distributors in the same time as rest of the new city 2021 sets instead of being some kind of exclusivity for lego shop for let's say 1 or 2 month as I will definitely buy shopping street (especially my son likes that light repair truck)

@LCP ufff... 60305 and 60306 are on lego site already (they appeared today on our polish lego site) as new sets with 1st of Jan availability.

This is absolutely ridiculous... There is no 60305 car transporter and 60306 shopping street. But there is no 60277 police boat as well, damn wtf? 19:13 City sets starts

I wonder why Lego withdraw their 2021 catalog, it's not available on their site. Is that because of adding prices (they were not given) or because of sets update (adding or removing some). Hmmm....

@Salix they could refresh 2012 set number 4431, ambulance itself without hospital. It's my wish Just watched this and will get it for sure. Looks way better than stills.

I really like new roads :) I really do. Apart from my humble wishes like medical stuff (new ambulance) or bus, I wonder what Lego can actually figure out for summer wave, speaking in matter of sets with new road plates. I mean, we can expect hideout 60278 but what else they can provide?
