Its actually great! Pretty much every figure in this theme has had a specialized mold, leg detailing and printing, with the occasional arm print as well! I think if they pumped out too many figures a year they'd lack the attention to detail the company has provided by spreading them apart. Lego DC fans would be over the moon if they got 1-2 amazing figures a year, lol. That's 1-2 more than we're used to getting, haha

You know what's even more annoying about it? Before, when the "standard" was 16 figures, plenty of Series "broke" that convention. Series 18 had 17 figures, 1 more than the standard 16 of that era, Harry Potter Series 1 famously had 22 figures. And I believe all three Disney series have had 18 figures. So all this to say, back when the "norm" was 16 per Series, they still had special series that would get more than this. But ever since skimming down to 12, I think every series had adhered to this 12 figure system. Shrek certainly is an example of a theme that could use a bigger roster, and I know I'm going to sound like a bitter DC fan, but both DC and Marvel should also be strong contenders for Licenses whose CMF series get more than 12 figures. Like just because we're at a new standard doesn't mean every single series has to follow that standard! Thats so they don't run out of ideas and give us too many filler genderswaps in the mainline CMF, which is the rumored reason they chose to skim down, some of those last few big series (namely Series 20) had plenty of rehashed ideas and genderswaps and little new concepts. But Licensed CMFs shouldn't always adhere to this because as opposed to genderswapping tropes, the slots come frok pre existing material of which there is often an abundance of.

Patrick looks amazing! I do love the classic Patrick and think he holds a special place in my heart, I think this new piece feels very Nickolodean and very cartoony in the perfect way and they captured his essence in a new way. Obviously the old one has its charm and felt a bit more like classic lego as the traditional torso piece is more visible on his, reminiscent of an era where specialized pieces were less common, and still conscious of the brands aesthetic, sometimes prioritizing that over the accuracy that we see them pursuing nowadays. Its a stylistic change and I appreciate both the old era where figures were Legofied, and the modern era where Lego goes above and beyond to customize figures, and they look less streamlined than before. Especially when comparing between licenses. one of my hopes for Spongebob is that they do a good job introducing more side characters. We never got Larry the Lobster, and in the modern era I think he would be a fabulous big figure. Same for Pearl. I also realllllyyy want them to take this opportunity to make Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy. Heck, I know this is far fetched, but I also want Man Ray and the Dirty Bubble. And Justice League varients of Spongebob and the gang when they became heroes would be fun. Lego gave us hero variants for Spongebob and Patrick before, but they weren't quite the Quickster and Elastic Waisteband designs that I'm looking for. Additionally, the "my leg" guy, "what are they selling" lady, fish lady with her family would all be hilarious memes to be able to recreate in Lego. The crazy Squidward scaring the fish lady and her family scene has become a classic staple reaction meme online, so being able to recreate that in Lego would be really cool.

Okay kind of a crazy thing to complain about but you know how Patrick in Spongebob is getting a unique mold with his belly included in the sculpt? I hope they revamp Winnie the Pooh someday in this style. I can't think of any character who needed a belly piece more than him. He looks so awkward with his fat bulbous head and his skinny normal minifigure body. He needs a belly to help break up some of that empty space. Sometimes I wish they just made a "belly" piece that could recieve printing so that characters across the board who's silhouette is not done justice by traditional torso piece could be done justice.

I lovee this new Batman leak. However I think its kind of annoying that DC consistently gatekeeps really good figures behind these overscaled Batmobile sets, because I would really appreciate these characters in more affordable sets as well. The previous 1980 Batman being available in a polybag was sooo incredible and hopefully Lego eventually does the same for this variant, as money is tight these days and I'm just not sure I can fork over $200 for a Batmobile. As for the upcoming winter wave, I'm realling hoping that the Arkham Batmobile gets more than 1 figure. All of the Batmobiles had potential to carey a few figures and I was kind of disappointed to see Lego only give us a single figure in each of those sets. Actually on that note this is how I wish the figure selection had been; 76331 - Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman (this would have been a great opportunity to give us Black Suit Superman as well) 76332 - Batman, Penguin, Catwoman 76333 - Batman, Robin (both in their Ice Suits™️), x2 Mr Freeze goons (white shoulder pads could either be a regular shoulder pad piece or they could just use the actual hockey player/football piece, 1 with the Hidden Side hoodie and braid piece and another with just a standard beanie piece, hockey pucks and ice skates) I've said it before and I'll say it again its a clear pattern of behavior with the Lego Group clearly putting minimal effort into the DC theme. Look at all those new molds in One Piece, Bluey, Animal Crossing and Sonic! Almost every figure gets a new mold. I wish they'd treated DC how they treat Sonic. Only 1-2 new figures a year but they get dual molding, arm printing, new molds and are extremely accurate to the source material. Like in 2024, DC DID only get a few new figures. But as we all saw the print quality on Harley was not always consistent and Freeze had no leg or arm detailing. Yes I know Freeze is a quick fix with Sinestro but the fact of the matter is DC did not produce a good figure for him when they could have. We see with other themes that the company IS at a new standard in 2026. Lord of the Rings, Legend of Zelda, Animal Crossing, One Piece, Fortnite, Nonkey Kid and even Vidiyo have shown that Lego can consistently provide characters with leg and arm detailing and still have room in their budget for MULTIPLE new molds within A SINGLE WAVE. A few waves a year and the numbers add up. Not that I'm going to sit here and count exactly how many new molds each theme recieved and divide it by the amount of waves (too lazy, lol. I could, though, but who's got the time?). The company IS at a high standard for their themes and while yes fans of Star Wars may complain that their Storm Troopers lack arm printing, or that Boba Fett is literally perfect but you have to switch up a few of his headpieces and torsos to get him right (DC fans WISH they had multiple Deathstrokes to swap helmets with btw) but the fact is they will never know what its like to get sets at the low trash bar that we consistently pay for over here. Its infuriating. Like fine give us only three figures a year but my goodness they better be good! I guess the figures in the three recent Batmobiles had leg printing but they looked off with that ugly cowl mold and some of those designs desperately needed arm printing, namely Batman and Robin's Batman. I guess it's a safe bet that the Batman Returns Batmobile will have more than one figure because I doubt they'll leave the Penguin boat unarmed. That would be kind of funny though if it was just Batman fighting Penguins car with no Penguin. Like an inside joke between Lego and us, a statement, if you will, in a moment of self aware jest, of their refusal to give us more than just Batman himself. Left to fight nothing but himself and the void. All in all I do have faith this theme is not dead because we are still getting new sets its just at a really slow pace. The Superman mech came out of nowhere and was a fantastic breath of fresh air and it sucks they aren't rumored to give us anymore. I was daydreaming of a Guy Garnder mech with a Black Adam figure, or a Mr Freeze mech with a new Batgirl would have been cool too. So point is we are capable of being surprised. Arkham caught me off guard and reminded me that the company is occasionally willing to give something to DC fans. So even if its at a slow pace I think the theme is not "dead" just not living up to its full potential. I do think its a mixed bag of DC films flopping and not having the audience support that the company needs to sell toys, but also I hate to say it but I do think Lego could do a little more than what they are in terms of effort into the theme. Like I think even a few more affordable playsers a year wouldn't be too much to ask for. Or just an upgrade in figure quality. Once again it seems like figures across all thems have normalized leg printing, with some themes getting more arm printing than others, but its not something reserved exclusively to the most expensive sets of a theme how it is here with DC. Likewith DC the figures with good molds like this new Batman are tied to expensive sets whereas in other themes there are a variety of price points in which you can pickup figures with leg detailing and new molds. Pretty much all the One Piece sets of all the price ranges have both new hair molds and leg detailing in all their sets. i know this comment is long winded, forgive me. But here is a list of some DC figures I think were not handled at a 2026 standard; Batwoman: needed dual molded legs, and she does usually have a strap on her leg as well which could be included in her leg printing. Batgirl: old, yeah, but the 2019 figure is a good example of a figure that was just sooo low effort across the board. No boots, which really could have been dual molded if you want to be lazy, but of course we all know it would look better if it also had printing to provide detail, which can be done minimally, it doesn't have to be an overdone She Hulk situation (also, whileI agree that Cmf She Hulk was a little "busy" I loved her and would glady welcome any figure like that over one with no detailing anyday). Also as stated before, the hairpiece they gave her wasn't particularly good at depicting her straight her in that run, plus there were small blue cowl ears the poked through her hair which could have made for a really cure hair piece. Batgirl in general is just always done so dirty. If done right she could be up there with Poison Ivy and Scarlet Witch as some of the best Superheroine figures in Lego, but because they keep giving her the short end of the stick with both leg detailing and hair moulds, we never quite got to see her live out her full potential. Especially in the 2014 figure where her boots were supposed to be gold, the lack of leg detailing REALLY stood out, and to this day we have never gotten dual molded black and gold boots to fix that (I think). and also unpopular opinion but its time to give up some molds and leave them in the last decade. Here are some molds I think the company should breathe new life into: Wonder Woman's hair: look, we get it. It was revolutionary for the time. I was there. 2012. Our very first Wonder Woman figure. Lives were changed. It was moving. But times have changed and its time to stun fans again. Make us feel young again. Like a little kid hearing at school that Lego was going to start making Justice League figures. I remember that, and while I did love the hair piece while it lasted, and it has recently found new life in the Unicorn Elf from CMF Series whatever, I just think its time to give Diana a new piece. Give it more volume, more personality and maybe make it look like it has a bit of motion? That could be done. Batmans 2026 cowl: my goodness this new cowl they've been leading with is so awful. Its the gap between the head and the torso/cape that looks so awkward because its just his human head poking through under the facade of his costume, it completely ruins the illusion that his costume is supposed to give and it looks awkward. I think the only figures they have gotten right these years have been the Burtan era Batmen. Its like yes! Batman looks his best when there is either a smooth transition or just nothing dividing the cowl from the rest of the cape/suit! Obviously this piece should be exclusive to the Burton film sets, but the concept should not. All Batmen should have a piece like that, in their own respective styles. Investing in this singular mold over seperate cowl and cape molds (especially given how awkward those have been looking lately) is what I wish they'd do moving forward. Harley Quins TLBM hair: this one is so weird. Lego has a few pigtail pieces. This one was fine for the cartoony style of TLBM, but I think its so odd that they insist om using it for regular DC sets. In Arkham it was partocularly annoying becaus we have never gotten the regular CMF Series 16 pigtail hairpiece in red and black for Harley. We got the red and blue in 2016 and that would be fun to see again, but we almost always see Harley in her blonde pigtail with died tips. That piece is lovely, but I thought Arkham would have been a great opportunity to give us that piece in black and red. And so I was so annoyed to see that the black and red hair for Harley was this ugly TLBM piece. It was such a missed opportunity to give us a great piece in a nice recolor. Who even likes this clunky hair? Who even has hair this voluminous in real life? You know what makes it even more annoying? Of all the moulds from TLBM that could have bled into modern DC or modern Lego, they chose Harleys hairpiece? The mayors blonde hair piece was BEAUTIFUL. Like why does no ome talk about what a perfect bob that was? I think that piece was made for comic accurate Sue Storm. Ivy's hair with flower in it could have been cute to see recolored in a CMF for like a hippie girl or something. And of course, we ALL wanted Lego to keep Riddlers question mark piece in production, but they chose to retire that amazing piece that completedthe Riddlers cane, but kept Harleys huge hair? Its just so weird, like of all the new molds introduced in that movie they retired all the good ones and kept the most unnessecarry, repetitive and ugly one in circulation. Oh I forgot to mention! Olivia Rodrigo! Her new sets, there is a figure with a red dazzling shirt. If you give her red legs, and a blonde hairpiece, this is THE best purist figure for a New 52 Cassie Sandsmark Wonder Girl. Its like, completely perfect for that! Can't wait to get my hands on that figure and make a purisr Wonder Girl. I always did think her red New 52 costume was underrated.

The wings from the Arkham Statue seem to be available on PAB and should work wonderfully for both Hawkgirl and Hawkman. I've seen so many reference images and it does seem like the classic Hawks had grey wings so the Hawkgirl figure we have would do well with this piece. We also have a few interesting orange nougat hair pieces on the market now. I never did like Hawkgi with her helmet and being able to customize her figure is very exciting. I really hope they don't cancel this License and choose to do something with it. I understand DC movies are trash but I can't help but think the idea the company is doing the most they can is a little ridiculous, and it does feel like they lowball the theme. Like look at how many new molds are being introduced right now in both Fortnite and One Piece. So many characters in both themes have leg printing and a few even got arm printing. Sure they don't really have dual molding but the figures are still at a considerably higher standard than DC's. Star Wars fans sometimes complain about their figure quality but look at their Tuskan Raiders!! Even the figs that did NOT need new molds got new molds! Lego DC could never! When is the last time we got a new mold? That new Batman cowl! Laughable!! The gap between the cowl and the cape is much more distinct than on previous figures because he does not have a black head, so there is no transition from his cowl to the cape its cut off awkwardly with Batmans human flesh poking out of what should be his costume. It looks awful. So many characters that did not get leg printing or new molds over the years with this theme, Batgirl namely sticks out. Sure she got it in TLBM but never in DC has Batgirl had her boots printed on, nor have we gotten a cowl mold for her since 2014!!! The Rebirth design where they gave her the Black Widow hair, is based off of a design where yes the Bat ears are faint and smaller poling through her hair in comparison to other cowls, but she still had Bat ears there and could have used a new piece. That Rebirth design is not just hair flowing, she has a pair of tiny blue ears poling through and I wish we got a piece for that! On that note I cringe at the thought of all the figures who had low quality detailing who may never get a revamped figure to do them justice (nonpun intended). Firestorm is na easy fix because we do have dual molded legs that work for him, but we'll never get the printing. sadly years later, still no legs exist for Reverse Flash.... and sadder still is that our only comic accurate Cheetah from post crisis (Barbara Minerva) has no arm or tail detailing and the only way to fix this is to swap her arms for ones that aren't even the same tone!! Think of all the DC figures that would have done well to get the attention to detail this company has proven they can work with. And now think of all the ones they haven't released, but will probably do poorly. Also looking at how so many Lord of the Rings sets predict the ones that come after, I am realllllyyyyy hoping our next Modular will be the Daily Planet. Huge fan, really hope to see more Superman in Lego. And now that Two Face has that new hair piece they don't have to cheap out on Metallo and can give us a gnarly Metallo figure with half human half Robot transformation. If the CMF rumors are true and we're getting a Crab monster then we can get a claw piece for Parasite, and the Superman villains can have the attention to detail they deserve.

So I have always wanted a Pokemon line and tbh I am quite bummed that they chose to go the super mario route and have buildable characters. Tbh I don't particularly feel this saves on costs for the company because many of these buildable figures go on to have specialized moulds anyways. I guess its somewhat streamlined since most characters have the same feet and arms and the rest is brick built over at Mario, its still not the ideal situation for me as a fan. From Pokecenters, Gyms, marts, homes to even the Battle Arenas, there are plenty of buildings that a minifigure in the Lego Pokemon line can and should interact with. Not only that but manydesigns can be brick built, its really just the heads that needs specialized moulds. What aches me is knowing some of these brick built Lego Pokemon will get specialized moulds, making this feel even more unnecesary because we could just get specialized moulds but make it figure scaled!! Onix, Gyarados, Steelix, Snorlax and more can and should be brick built and still be figure scaled! You could say the same about Charized its really just the head we need. I wanted a Pokemon CMF series, unstead we're basically getting an official vsrsion of how Mega Bloks handled the license. No finesse and no taste just a monsy grab that won't live up to the hype. Really hope they ditch this approach and give fans what they want as the years go by.

Holy crap this theme is commited to being a disappointment. Kudos to the design team for consistency on that part but like wow hold the applause for all else. What a disheartening line up for the 20th Anniversary of Lego Batman, and the crappy choices weren't even properly executed. Here are some more in depth criticiques of the sets individually: 76331 - I do not feel as though they captured the silhouette of the car adequately at all. The tires in the rear should be larger and encapsulated by armor (?), and the tires in the front just barely reflect the way the tire was covered in the movie. The sides of the car seem to capture the matt color of the vehicle well but the car looks rather dull and the colors fall flat and I have a great idea why. So basically the car manages to have a shimmer irl and not in Lego bc they should have used SNOT techniques to smooth out all those rough edges on the vehicle. Not all Lego cars are blocky, just look at the new BTTF design. Its great. This car is blocky and the roughness of the surface makes it hard to appreciate the gorgeous color this car has. I think the biggest offense was the lack of SNOT techniques but besides that its not terribly accurate either making it harder to sympathize with all its jagged edges. Just an unflattering execution of this vehicle tbh. 76332 - Vaguely accurate but who cares. The 2021 Batman movie was story driven but on a visual level many of the character designs are rather tame for a comic book movie. I truly feel the addition of literally any other character would have complimented this set nicely to keep its enrgy alive as it currently feels kind of dead. I'm thinking Riddler or Catwoman. This is definitely the best set of the wave since its the most accurate to its source material, but it still feels boring since said source material isn't particularly visually striking to begin with. 76333 - I was the most excited for this because I grew up watching classic Batman movies on VHS. I used to love Batman and Robin and have vivid memories of seeing it as a kid. I always wanted Lego to adapt the 80's-90's Batman movies for the longest time. That being said, this is mid. No nipples on the Bat Suit is kind of hilarious because you know good and well a conversation was had in the design room about whether or not to include them. Kind of wish we got a Bat credit card here as well. The figure is otherwise well done but yeah would it kill ya to give him arm printing? Now to the car itself, that blade in the very front is sooo awkward and out of place, yes the car does have a grooved edge down its center in the physicsl design but it does not protrude like that, rather is part of the front bumper section of the car and should be integrated with the build and not sit on the exterior of the bumper. I get that they wanted to create that image of a snowpiercer but this make it look like an addition to the car rather than a built in feature and it bugs me because that central blade should run down a "groove" that runs down the center of the car and I'm just realizing said groove is not included in the Lego build. Sure it would be hard to do but I think they should have at least integrated the snow blades into the front bumper more seamlessly because they look awful out of place as is. Also the Bat signal at the front of the car should basically be touching the floor near the front I mean it should be front and center. Instead it sits awkwardly facing the skylight kind of on top of the front part of the Lego build and its also quite small? Its just really off the mark in terms of that entire front section and the back half isn't really anything to gawk at so I'll just wait a few years down the line till they hopefully remake this but actually do a half decent job next time. That said it is cool we have an affordable retail set including designs from a classic Batman movie. Just wish they'd include more characters. This is based off a scene in a museum where Freeze and his goons face off against Batman and Robin. It would be nice to have gotten like 5 figs here: Batman, Robin, Mr Freeze and 2 Ice Goons. I say this because each film has such a strong cast it would be a shame to omit most of them. Ms B Haven, the Ice goons, Freeze, Bane, Ivy, Bane and Ivy in their Gorilla suit disguises, Alfred, Batgirl, Robin, Riddler, Two Face, Sugar, Spice, Two Face goons, not to mention the Red Triangle Gang for the Penguin in Batman returns, or civilian variants for Batgirl, Batman, Robin and Catwoman!! I kind of hate that they are so dedicated to giving us the bare minimum because theres actually sooo much ground to cover both cinematic and comic wise that it feels like we'll never get a fraction of what we could which is disheartening.

That's what all of this comes down to isn't it though? Mismanagement by Warner, DC, and Lego has contributed to the decline of this theme imo. Like yeah DC has fell off, but I don't feel crazy in saying the characters still have enough name brand recognition to carry some sets and deserve better than the literal nothing burger we've been fed these past few years. I'm hoping the theory that was recently circulating that the jumpsuit variants will be justified because they intend to release normal variants of these villains in a soft reboot of the theme next year. Maybe not a theory per se but I've seen a few Youtube comments suggest this and I really like this idea. Just wish Clayface was included in this lineup. The video piece that's perfect for him is still in circulation via a BAM piece that's currently on the market. I just really was hoping they'd use that piece for Clayface before they cycle it out of production. I guess Batwing would be exciting if it was the character from the comics, but it looks to be just a Batman variant? Was hoping for the actual hero Batwing, that would have been cool.

Yeah as much as I would love a Mansion, I think it needs some time. Also, I wonder if the fact that we have both the Avengers Tower and X-Mansion available on the market may impact the likelihood of this set being made. The Avengers Tower serves the same purpose as the Mansion as being the base of the Avengers. And then, the X-Mansion is also a teams headquarter, but with a similar aesthetic to the Avengers Mansion. I mean for crying out loud its another mansion. so I think its clashes thematically and aesthetically with two prominent sets on shelves right now, so I truly don't see the Avengers Mansion being produced until after one or both of those sets retire. A set with no new moulds, lack of leg printing and molding sounds like the standard Marvel set lol. But yes I agree that would be so disappointing and kind of disrespectful to the original designs that kick started this entire genre. I agree that Lego probably would reuse the MCU Tiara, and just use standard hair for Wanda and Thor respectively. I see them doing that, and I see myself being very disappointed as well, lmao.

To be fair I did say comic adjacent. The cartoon designs are very close to what was worn in the comics, its in close proximity. I actually think Beast is 100% comic and cartoon accurate. And while it may have been misleading concept art, it doesn't change the fact that it resulted in a Werewolf that could at the very least be used in comic accurate settings and displays. all this to say, I do think Lego is open to not just comic, but cartoon, and with the Spiderverse CMF, animated movie sources of inspiration for CMF Series. The initial comment's sentiment is that, whether comic or cartoon, its all semantics really, I do think TLG is open to producing CMF figures like this, but that it needs to be the right time. That we've seen glimpses of that so far. I feel confident in due time we'll get a Marvel CMF Series exclusively comprised of highly sought after designs. Fingers crossed it gets more than 12 slots.

You're right, maybe we need more new moulds than I initially believed. Maybe that means we may see some of these designs revisited in a future cmf series? Or maybe they'll just never get it right, lol. Even better point! Lego friends even has pants which show volume, which I adore. I believe they have a bell bottom piece if I am not mistaken. It's all quite neat. Unpopular opinion but even aside from dresses and pants, it'd be nice to get a new arm piece to represent sleeves with volume or ruffles.

Keep in mind, that Avengers Mansion was the base for the Avengers for most of classic Marvel History, the use of Stark Tower is more modern. Meaning an Avengers Mansion would do best with classic members of the Avengers. Thor, Hawkeye, Ant-Man, and Scarlet Witch would all need new moulds, not to mention Captain America would do best with a new mould to represent the winged cap he bore in the comics. I think a comic based CMF series would be needed to get these moulds introduced, then the set would probably have the same characters with no leg printing, lack of dual molding and select accessories, think Storm/Wolverine in the X-Mansion. Aside from a CMF series to introduce the characters who would need new pieces, we'd also need a wave or two introducing characters who will spill into the D2C. Think Black Widow, Iron Man, classic Hulk, Vision or even Wasp, who I could see getting made with no new pieces. Ideally the Mansion would then have obscure legacy heroes such as Hercules, Namor, Tigra, etc as exclusive variants. But all this to say, if done properly, we'd need a few things such as a cmd series and a wave or two to get a proper Mansion. I just don't see that happening by Summer of next year, unless they rush everything else on to the Winter wave. As mentioned before, I think all signs point to a Spiderman based D2C given the heavy focus on him throughout this year. I do not think Marvel or Lego have been avoiding the comic based CMF series at all. I believe its just been a matter of timing. With the Disney + shows being fresh and new during the release of Series 1, it can be inferred that many of these shows would not be seen as profitable enough to warrant a set (at least before they launched, in hindsight I'm sure a Wandavision set would sell well/decently), but knowing the characters would be desirable and influential in the coming MCU projects. it just made sense to congregate them into a cmf series since that first wave of Disney + shows brought with it a wave of new designs that TLG had to acknowledge somehow. As for CMF Series 2, it can actually be argued that 1/3 of the series was comic/cartoon accurate. Beast, Wolverine and Storm are the first obvious 3 that were not based on live action MCU source material, but rather the 97 cartoon. But I now feel confident in saying Werewolf by Night is not based off of the MCU. The noir movie naturally had him greyed out, but concept art and online images suggest he had ripped blue dress pants in the live action special, but the green pants are accurate to his comic debut. yes his bloodstone accessory is MCU accurate, but Werewolf by Nights outfit was undeniably comic based The means 4/12 figures in Series 2 were comic adjacent and not based off of a live action property. That was long winded but all this to say, we have already gotten traces of comic based figures in a CMF setting. As the Disney + shows settle down and become less significant, time will clear the way for us to be able to have a completely comic based series. I think they are open to it, it just hasn't been the right time yet.

I figure eventually we'll get designs more akin to the movie. I actually won't shut up about how I think the next CMF series should have a Mickey with mid sized legs and more compact/smaller head mould to make him canonically shorter to Goofy and more in line with his animated scale. This may be a wild take but I'd love to get a micro figure of Tinker Bell, Ala Emperor Palpatine's micro figure, or Ant-Mans. Except hers would of course have wings and a ponytail moulded on. Wouldn't mind if she's slightly larger than a traditional micro figure if it means we get those details. As for the Beauty and the Beast movie, I can' t be the only one who was hoping Belle would have used the Series 15 Queen dress mould, as I was always under the impression that her dress had more volume and dimension to it, than say, Aurora or Snow White. While the latter two make good use of the sloped dress piece, I sort of wanted both Cinderella and Belle to use the larger puffier dress mould for their mini figure debuts.

I can appreciate this take. For example; We've never gotten TTG sets but we've had Teen Titans show up in Batman sets, in the CMF series, and Dimensions.I agree its not been a traditional set based off of Teen Titans getting made, but it can be argued that the shows popularity helped us get some sort of Teen Titans presence in Lego to begin with. But that's still speculative, I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks the show helped us get some movement in that department. One exciting thing I will mention is that the recently announced Starfire show is said to have Amethyst of Gem World who I absolutely adore and while unlikely I would love for us to get her through this new venture. I guess on a slightly optimistic note we did technically get sets based off of DC Super Hero Girls. Yeah it was with mini dolls but there's something to be said that we did get sets based off of an animated Series. And while Beware the Batman did not get a set, the 2014 Batmobile from the Flash's debut set being accurate to the show is clear inspiration and can be considered a loose tie in. Not to mention 2 Dimensions packs directly based off of Teen Titans Go, and I feel comfortable saying it's a possibility we may see some content loosely or directly based off of an upcoming animated project, it's just..... the precedence for this has been video game tie ins, of which we are highly unlikely to see again, mini doll based sets, again unlikely, and loose tie ins. The loose tie ins is where we may find success. Sure Jessica Cruz has been announced to have her own show and so will Starfire. But rather than getting sets directly based off of those properties, I can see these characters being sprinkled into other Batman/Superman sets. And there is definitely precedence for this, Starfire/Beast Boy in the Jokerland set, Justice League wave during the year of JLA release, and Killer Croc, Harley, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang and Katana being released in 2016. So fingers crossed they bring back unofficial tie ins! Sorry to ramble but it can be argued that they already brought back unofficial tie ins, with the new Superman movie not getting sets, it can be interpreted that the Superman mech is our unofficial tie in for that. Same goes for the book.
