What’s good everyone! I’ve been trawling the Eurobricks forums for years and have been on-again, off-again active in the AFOL community (mostly through online interaction, sadly).
I’ve been a train head since I was a kid, with particular fascination for steam; I was fortunate enough to have seen UP 4014 on the mainline pulling the heritage consist back in October 2019, and so most of my modeling has been inherently train-centric.
I also own and operate Solidworks and a large-volume 3D printer, so I’m not exactly a “purist.” My recent interest has been in large-radius track geometry that is more prototypical to model railroading and real-life railroading (or a hybrid between the two). Hopefully I’ll be able to put up a community post detailing more on the subject sometime soon.
