  1. I'm back! I agree with voting for Hendrick Horse, it makes sense given how he tried to steer us away from the Pig yesterday. He didn't give me my horse ride either. Vote: Hendrick Horse Seems we are all pretty much in agreement on voting for the Horse though, quite an easy lynch and with no sign of the Horse himself to raise a defence, which is very surprising given his activity yesterday. He must be able to contribute at some point as he is required to vote, so I doubt he has been restrained from talking. Hmm! Very curious.
  2. Regarding the unsuccessful frame action, the Absorber role occurred to me as well. It is still a bit of a mystery how that works in this situation, particularly as it is some kind of variant. But the basis of it is that the user fails and the Absorber takes the action, right? Hmm, how does that work in practice though? I don't really understand it, because the Absorber would be revealed the first time that happened, which doesn't make much sense, i.e., if it were not a one-shot action then the animal-person would know they have lost their action, plus if the action-user always fails when they do it then that also gives the game away. With the set-up as it is, I kinda doubt we even have any more actions than what the Twat gives us and what we know the scum has, although that is not based on anything other than an instinct. Omrom has told us a lot about the set-up but I suppose he could have left something out. Back to the framing though, Calissa do you have any insight as to why a frame might have failed against you?
  3. Oh, of course, there is also the possibility one of the investigators is scum and is lying about their result. Shouldn't rule that out either. Hmm I knew this would be a puzzle ...
  4. Oh damn, that's awesome! Very glad we pushed for the pig. Pembroke, massive props to you for your analysis as that is what swayed me. It would be worth looking back at who was trying to deflect votes away from the pig yesterday. So: 1. Caylin Cow investigated Hayleigh Hippo - Town 2. Maddock Monkey investigated Fergus Fox - Town 3. Evren Elephant investigated Wyeth Walrus - Town 4. Fergus Fox tried to frame Calissa Cat - unsuccessful. Very curious why. 5. One unclaimed framer - unlikely to report back. The above results are interesting, as we know one of the investigators is insane. Possibly the framer managed to have an impact on one result, or possibly one of the three is scum ... kinda impossible to know, unfortunately. My crocodile brain isn't big enough to calculate the odds of the insane investigator targeting scum compared to the odds of the insane investigator targeting a framed townie. Hmm! The Twizzler has given us an interesting set-up for tonight. If the paranoid gun-owners claim, then the vigilante will know who to avoid, but so will the scum. A most interesting situation.
  5. Oh ummm hi Hendrick, it's me again. My what a big, umm, tail you have! So about that horse ride ...
  6. Sorry all, got a bit tied up by the dragon monster over there, he really is impossible to udder sand ... anyway, framer number 2 has not come forward so I think we are in for an interesting night and quite a mess to work through tomorrow. My earlier concerns still remain; I think we are going to have a difficult time planning ahead as the loyalists can manipulate us during the day, so it would be better to try and catch them out in a lie tomorrow when results are revealed. Trying to coordinate the investigations would be a waste of time. We can also assume our second framer isn't planning on revealing their result, so we already have that to grapple with. I'm interested to see what the Twister brings tomorrow, that's for sure. Oh dear oh dear, I best vote before that dragon starts chasing me again. I think it said something about biting ankwes. Very disturbing. The vote is split evenly, so unless people are around we are not going to manage a lynch today ... Of the two leading candidates, I'm not really feeling much of scum vibe from Wyeth. Nothing much to go on of course, but I think he has at least tried to contribute usefully. Priella, not so much. Vote: Priella Pig. The poke vote seemed ill-informed in the context of a discussion with some actual substance, and I find Pembroke Panda's analysis above to be most cod pelican. Most cold pasta. Ahem, most compelling. And I agree that poking the horse is not possible today, so best see where things go with the pig. Oh, hi Hendrick! Um, I mean I can still poke you if you want. Neigh? Kinda just wanted to talk to you because you're a dirty hand mop. Umm, dashingly handsome, I mean. Oh fudge wrappers. Anyway, it is difficult to get momentum on the first day in the best of times, doesn't your reasoning apply equally to the lack of momentum against Priella Pig?
  7. Not I, although I do wonder whether we really need to be planning the framing ahead of time? Does that help at all? If both framers are town, then they can just tell us tomorrow. If a framer is scum, then they are likely to lie about their action, whether they claim it today or tomorrow or not at all. None of this planning seems particularly helpful, honestly it is all a bit of a mess and quite the trap I feel if we try to rely too heavily on the results of all this framing and investigating ... there will be some useful information tomorrow, but with no way to tell it apart from the fake information with any degree of confidence. They don't call this person the Twizzler for nothing! Hendrick, I don't follow why having the framers target the same person is helpful at all. We have no way of confirming that they have even done so, one or both could very easily lie about it. You ... think the Twizzler knows all of our alignments? I don't think so.
  8. I am in agreement with the suggestion that rancid farts ... sorry, recipients of the framer actions should claim today and not use them. I do not see any way that those roles would benefit the town at all. If by some stroking duck the framer actions end up with town defectors, then at least that only leaves the puzzle of figuring out which of the investigation results is false tomorrow, assuming of course that all three go ahead and all three report back ... I must say, it is most interesting to have some idea of what the night ahead has in store for us, it is both a blessing and curse in a way at this early stage. There should be no harm in the investigators claiming tomorrow as their one-shot actions will be gone, so at least we know we will have something to talk about.
  9. Good morning everyone! Despite many moons spent among the dragons, my stomach still flutters at this elf nude. Sorry, altitude. I've already lost my cape in the wind it seems, poppy socks. Oh! Oh a baby dragon, keep it away from me! Oh oh, sorry, uh, sorry yes, bad memories. So correct me if I am a gong, but we have with us a fellow who can assign one-shot actions to any of us for the coming night, who also has some kind of variation on the absorber role, so can potentially gain one of those actions and use it? Or perhaps only gain a permanent action. Whatever the case, it sounds like it has the potential to go horribly wrong.
