FABUPUNK Mafia! Conclusion—Heresy!
Wyeth Walrus replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Urf! still feel like a newbie... -
Urf! if you incorporate that tuba, perhaps it could be called a fwoomba
-
Urf! but the sky isn’t blue. It’s a purplely black at the moment, with lots of colourful dots.

FABUPUNK Mafia! Day Two—That's Clearly a Giraffe
Wyeth Walrus replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Urf! No one thinks the investigation results are worthless? They’re just not definitive. Much as I wish it did clear me completely, I get that everyone else needs to factor in the insane investigation. also. I’m glad you’re town. Good of you to tell us. bah. Yeah he did. I simply recalled it from Lyevs response to me. there are no new ideas really, just recycled ones. I made an assumption about how scum actions work. I could well be wrong. -
FABUPUNK Mafia! Day Two—That's Clearly a Giraffe

Urf! I surmise There’s no huge risk for the scum letting the frame be random. But then we need to let go the idea that they framed one of themselves in case of investigation. If so, one of the low probability cases occurred, the two sane investigators got town and the insane investigated a scum or the insane investigated the same animal the random frame landed on. Or as Lyev suggested, the scum actually had an investigate, not a frame, and truthfully reported their randomly targeted result in order to make friends. So, after drawing votes yesterday, avoiding the Priella lynch, though he was around to do change and worried about not lynching, he preps you for the case where he investigates as scum? And today is “busy” and says nothing for half the day... not to mention trying to omfgus me. Yeah.. I judge I will vote: Hendrick Horse -
FABUPUNK Mafia! Day Two—That's Clearly a Giraffe

Urf! Last night there were only two scum left. Assuming Priella didn’t draw the frame, it would have been a case of one scum framing the other. I can’t make a judgement on what they were thinking, too many variables. Urf! whilst I was considering how to answer this, the panda has listed the possibilities I would have laid out. on the assumption that the scum did use a frame on their partner, who then killed our friend the sheepdog, they probably aren’t responsible for a block on Fergus. I judge there’s something weird with Clarissa, the trickster absorber perhaps, given how the result was reported. Blocks usually just get reported as successfully performed, even if the action doesn’t actually occur. -

Urf! If the monkey’s maths is correct, it’s a low probability case. Much less likely than his simply being sane. I judge there will be some to and fro about which of the investigators is incorrect. Working out why Fergus was unsuccessful may be equally fruitful. I judge this unlikely. Why would a scum investigator not simply lie and say their target was loyalist. Or even just not report the result? -

Urf! Thank you for the sane report Master Elephant. Or the insane, framed result. Either way, good work. As for the business today the twizzler setup seems quite straightforward, there won’t need to be a long discussion about claiming and where to direct actions. In fact there’s an outside chance the scum draw the serial kill and stare down a decent chance of blowing themselves out of the game. Would that make it the quickest we’ve ever dealt with the enemy? -

Urf! Yawn. I call you out, you vote for me, predictable. Not even worth responding since you’ve not made a claim of substance. But then, this day one. A time for poke votes and other shenanigans. Vote: Evern Elephant Late to the game isn’t good play. -

Wyeth Walrus replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Urf! If the fwamews claim, and declare their targets the scum lose several avenues of attack. If an investigation comes back scum they’ll have an uphill battle suggesting they were framed (though yes it could have been the insane investigator). Equally they can’t point a finger at someone investigated town and claim they’re actually scum but framed, which is good for town clearance rate (again see insane). Basically, having framers claim and declare target takes them out of the calculation, your concern that there aren’t ways to tell what the framers do may not be entirely correct. Yes it’s possible Fergus or the other could be scum themselves and yes we can’t protect against all results. But the more that’s publicly known, the less the scum can lie about. I judge this to be worth taking the time to organise. -

Urf! Have dome the maths based on Horsey’s claim of three scum, there’s a 19.5% chance all five one shot roles went to townies. I judge this will bite us tomorrow -

Urf! Omfgus? It’s not you knowing your affliation we care about. It’s us knowing it. Apologies. i judge I got horse and hippo mixed up. -

Urf. wow. just wow. Hendrick.... Lets tick things off one by one. first, you’re talkative, that’s not a tell in and of itself, It could be helpful town, Or it could be scum wanting to appear helpful town. Your words are on topic, but not thought through, ignoring clear information and making things more complicated than they need. second, I took your indirect suggestion that we should choose someone not to be investigated and clarified it. then you agreed thats what you meant. You’ll note I didn’t immediately put my hand up to not be investigated, though I could have. Why didn’t I? I thought it a pretty scummy move to ask to not be investigated. You were happy to leap into not being investigated though. Got something to hide? and then third, I didn’t even speculate on scum numbers, it’s a bad look. But you did, telling us there’s three (you think). Either you couldn’t resist sharing that you know more than we, or you’re sowing disinformation. That’s yet another possible tell. Now, I judge I’ve been wrong before, and could just be being paranoid, so I’d appreciate others looking over Hendricks words and letting everyone know what they see. Am I jumping at shadows or is there a case to be made against the hippo. Perhaps I’ve overlooked something. -

Urf! So who’s the frame target? Who’s the other framer? I’d try to calculate the odds of one of roles ending up in loyalist hands, but that would require knowing how many scum there are. I judge it unlikely I’ll be given an answer to that today. -

Urf! Are you suggesting following? the other framer should publicly declare. Then Fergus and the other framer publicly announce their target. The three investigators investigate anyone they like except the frame target. All three investigators report results first thing tomorrow morning. There are then four results, all town - the insane hit a scum, a scum are one of those three. one scum - a regular investigator hit a scum or the insane picked a town. two scum - a regular investigator picked a scum AND the insane hit a town. three scum - both investigators picked scum AND the insane picked a town. all of the above are good information to get. I judge this a good plan, assuming the second framer comes forward and neither framer nor any investigator is scum. -

Urf! The three investigators, two fwamews is the set up for today/tonight. We were told it would change each day. I judge it unlikely we will be able to definitively clear a townie to eat fwames tomorrow anyway. -

Wyeth Walrus replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Urf! What are you doing? The first thing to say when you wake is something vague and uninteresting, like ‘good morning’ or ‘where are my slippers‘ or ‘Who was playing that tuba?’ Not leaping straight in to speculative thoughts about what other animals can do. Or about how your side[\s] the scum are feeling. Urf! I judge that I would. But perhaps I’d be distracted by the need to root out our enemies. Urf! bad formatting. Can’t change my words! I judge I won’t be using many tags. Urf! He who smelt it, dealt it -

Urf! I’m glad the voyage is finally underway, I’m less glad we are floating in the aether. I will keep my lead boots tied tight. I do not want to float away. I judge the flappy thing is going to get quite tired keeping up the annoying speech impediment, but I suppose he is necessary to keep us informed of how each day may unfold. -

Urf! I judge this to be a sound vessel. Not sure about the crew yet. As long as we don’t sail too high either. Urf! (Or whatever the hell noise walruses make)
