  1. Yes this is exactly what I'm proposing. Sorry I didn't state it as neatly and organized as you have. Right well that does remind me that it's quite possible a scum could have gotten the investigator role. That said it'd be a gambit to lie and this is the first day... unless they use it to clear a fellow scum. Oof. That's a distinct possibility.
  2. It did say in the intro though that the scum had a block and a kill. It didn't mention a watcher but I guess we can't rule that out. I'd be more worried that the scum would kill the investigation target if they were known, or, if they got the framing ability themselves, they could claim to frame but not, thereby tampering with expected results.
  3. Yesss this is what I'm trying to say.
  4. No I mean why did u suggest the investigator(s) target someone who's identity would be publicly known thereby inviting subterfuge? Of course the oneshot investigators should reveal their results in the morning.
  5. Ah, I must have missed that. Fair enough. Anyways tho even if this is a one-use game plan it's still better than letting the framers run amuck. Then why did you suggest it then!
  6. Like for this to work we'd need to advertise someone as the target for the frames. That person and the 2 framers should be publicly known. A public investigation target is begging to be killed by the scum, or else handled with in a more sneaky way if one of the scum DID secure the framing ability.
  7. Yes that person should be ignored. I don't know how the 2 frames would interact but ALSO publicly announcing the investigation target is big big big big big dumb I'm not saying they should be ignored forever tho. We should switch up who gets framed. In fact! As we clear townies with the investigators we should have already cleared town members eat the frames.
  8. As long as both framers target the same person, and that person's identity is publicly known, we should be able to adroitly minimize the danger posed by the framers. I'd further suggest that this person be different each day, assuming a similar scenario, so that that person's affiliation can eventually be ascertained. Because we won't be able to trust that both framers actually did target that person. Also unless we have the framers ask Pernilla to clarify their ability, we can't know if they counter eachother or if a negative plus a negative simply equals a negative. There's far too much guesswork to make that strategically sound.
  9. Sure, I would volunteer, but it could be anyone.
  10. Aha! So we do have a claimant now. Interesting. I don't know why I failed to consider that the role would be compulsory but that makes perfect sense. Now I feel we should ensure that both framers coordinate and target the same person who's identity is publicly known so that none of the investigators waste their time on that target.
  11. how could a framing ability possibly benefit us? It can only be used to sew confusion by tripping up the investigator(s) or possibly to reverse frame a scum. Also I've never heard of a nutty investigator being TOLD that they'll get a false result. That kinda defeats the point of that role, does it not? (I think I'm responding to someone else here but it makes sense for me to mention it now I think) The reason the framers should claim is so that they can be held accountable. If someone is investigated and lynched under false pretenses then we'll know either the investigator was a dud, or one of the framers was lying. ALSO if a framer fails to claim at this juncture and is later revealed to have been the recipient of the ability, then we can be assured of their scumminess. This of course is all assuming the role recipients even KNOW what their actions would do. Considering the deep anals of history are overflowing with examples of duplicity, I wouldn't be surprised if the trickster hands out "Bananas, Apples, and Baguettes" without further explanation to the recipient than "you have an item you can use and you'll find out later what it did." Which would be hilarious but would make strategizing far more difficult. To concisely state my opinion: There is nothing Townie at all about concealing a Framing ability if you know you have one.
  12. Wow that is vewy wude. Poop belongs on the floor where your standing or the basket under your butt! Not in anyone's hands! *you're
  13. Wow! Are u sure you're a monkey and not a ninja? My concern in having one-shot recipients all claim today is that it could reduce the efficacy of our investigators, throwing them in danger of being blocked or simply killed. Also we don't know if we even have an investigator on our side and limiting the oneshot investigations could cripple us as a town. I agree that them claiming tomorrow could be a very interesting gambit which we should consider. the framers however should claim now.
  14. My assumption is that the twickstew, being a neutral party, has no idea who's scum and who's town. If they get to choose who gets their items, as opposed to simply which items are administered at random, then odds are they'll try to play the field and sew as much chaos as possible. It's an interesting role while highly irksome because this setup in particular is going to benefit the scum more. I have some other theories about the setup now but none that I'll divulge as they're not actually useful. My guess is that this twickstew character can't win with either team. I also guess they have more up their sleeve than we've seen yet. More to the point, 2 framers multiplies the trickster's chances of giving one of them to a scum, which would benefit them by means of sewing chaos. If a townie gets it they should under NO circumstances use that thing. In fact the play may very well be to try to get the 2 framers to claim as such in thread as there's literally no way it could be helpful to us otherwise. If we do that in fact we could even give the night actions something to work off if they find out that someone had the framing kit and did not claim it but I'm getting ahead of myself and also going down a wild hypothetical. Madness, death, destruction! This reminds me of the anals of history! Those who fail to read the history books are doomed to make the same mistakes as our forbearers you know! I should hope we found our new NEIGHtion in a manner that we may benefit from the wisdom of our past mistakes
  15. Howdy-hey! Hendrick Horse the former royal guard! Let's take down those spies the same way Queen Harriet the salacious did when chaos threatened her country!
