  1. that's cool, but did you have to modify the wire's?? i want to use 4 lego remote control's. how do get the power for the robot? battery packs? i have to use about 9 battery packs that's just rediculous hahahaha it's impossible to count all of the parts, i do know that there are 1000 thread peices 8 xl motor's and 20 normale one's and a huge pneumatic system thru the whole model ( 6 compressors and 3 airtanks. but becouse the model is changing all the time i have no idea how many parts i used so far, i own about 150 lego technic model's 50 lego system models and lot's more. but í am running out of parts, there is not one model i didn't use parts from. just to imagine how many parts there, the model weight now is 13.5 kilo's this is without battery packs and not even half way done
  2. yes it is verry difficult to make the hole model strong enough. some elements almost crack deu to the stress on it. but that's the challenge of it! yesterday i made battery packs and saw the tank moving for the first time in 1 year, it runs beautifully on its tracks!! foto's will follow!!
  3. Yes, exactly! thanks for the link, i couldn't find any pictures of it.
  4. and if you are using the motor's to steer ( left and right ) check my tank forum for a cool joystick controller i found on the internet
  5. hi, i saw some chrome cillinder, does anybody know's where i can find them?
  6. What is a B.U.T.T???? some new pictures from my phone By the way, this is probably a very stupid question.......... but....... what does MOC means? coen By the way, this is probably a very stupid question.......... but....... what does MOC means? coen
  7. hi, ofcourse it is possible to build a steering system using 4 sets of treads, when you steer by turning power to the left ore right motors you need to make sure that the treads dont de-rail. when you want to make the front one's steer you must make very strong steering rods and probably want to use an XL motor good luck, coen P.S. how big is the model going to be??
  8. Whahahahaha BEHEMOTH it is..... hahaha
  9. hi ed, well, a copple of years ago i saw a documentery about superstructures made by adolf hitler in de 2nd world war. he was a megalomaniac ( and out of his mind ofcourse, i wanna be clear that i am NOT a hitler fan ore some kind of idiot!!!!) but one of his plans was a mega tank about the same size as my tank ( in scale ). i saw the bleuprints of it and i always wanted to build a lego structure with absolutely no limits what so ever. so 2 years ago i got started. it began as a small model of about 20cm wide en 35 long. but verry soon it became to small so i yust build it bigger and bigger. so the idea came from the 2nd world war but it's not a replica, i have al the freedom of the world. But i dont have a name for it yet, does anybody has an idea? many many pictures will follow
  10. well i need at least 2 motors becouse there are battery packs inside the tank and inside the turret. this cant be connected with an axle system becouse the turret is a stand alone ( no connections between the tank and turret) but the reason i have to use that manny motors is the fact that i want to make al lego technic model that looks like a normal model ( scaled down to the size of a mini figure ) so there isn't that much room. and the objects that i am building wiegh allot so 1 motor doesnt have enough power.
  11. hey this is the new topic about my tank: dimensions: 100cmX50cmX35cm 20 X light left tracks: 4 XL motor's right tracks: 4 XL motor's side pods: 2 motor's engine: 1 motor pneumatic's system 3 motor's master switch 3 motor's Turret: Rotation 4 motor's horizontale position 3 motor's shooting mechanisme 4 motor's And what ever come's in mind, i dont care........... i'm thinking about using 2 micro motor's but they are kind of hard to find them ( if you dont want to pay 35 euro for it ) the motor you see is a rotating star ( 6X8 ) cillinder engine. de pistons rototate clockwise and the cilinders anti clockwise, look's pretty funny. this is the goal: there is 1 electric connection behind a cover. you hook that on a battery pack. now you kan turn the system on, ( you only give power to the 3 motor's that will turn the battery packs inside the tank on). these 3 motor's engage the other battery packs in the tank and the turret. there are 2 systems that will always run: the star engine the pneumatic system the pneumatic system are two things: A 4 cilinder compressor with 2 airtanks ( 2 motor) A 1 cilinder compressor (actualy just for show, but it works. 1 motor) pressure valve. this control's the motor's by shutting them down at 2.4 bar en turning them back on at 1.5 bar. System's on a reciever: driving driving ( 8 XL motor's ) 2 channels the side pods (2 motor's) 1 channel the turret horizontale position ( 3 motor's ) 1 channel rotation (4 motor's) 1 channel shooting (4 motor's) 1 channel so i need 6 channels, 3 remote's........ but i have 4.......... so.......... any ideas???? hahahahaha the rest of the component's will be controlled by switches on the tank for the power i am thinking about using the rechargeable ones
  12. hey guys, i am going to make a new topic with pictures, i want to thank everyone for their replies. i am not sure what i am going to use for bateries, but we will discuss that on th other topic thnx!!
  13. hey i was looking at other topics and i saw chrome cilinders. does anybody knows where i can buy them?

  15. yeah it huge! with the turret completted it wil have 4 working levels, all scaled down to the size of a mini figure
