  1. I think it was a mouse! Vote: Ellis
  2. Omrom told me that Ellis was speculating and guessing on who the vigilante was, which can be seen as fishing I suppose. Omrom tried hard to get me to kill Ellis but I still thought that staying home was the best course of action. We still have our vote today, and if we survive into the night, I can use my kill again. Omrom seemed convinced that Fazit is town and that Ellis is scum and that Quinn could go either way. Yikes! I see something spooky again! I'm not scared, you're scared!
  3. How is this game still going? Shouldn't we have lost? Have the scum killed one of their own? Let me explain, I am the Cannibal Vigilante. I killed Ruben on Night One, he was a member of the Alliance. That's why on Day Two I posted about how foolish the vigilante was to try to kill someone on Night One. I'm not sure why I picked Ruben (sorry!) but all I'll say is that it was a bad call. I was speaking to Omrom last night quite a bit and I think I know why the scum went and killed him. He went out and told everyone that he'd found the vigilante but didn't say it was me. According to him, Quinn and Fazit wanted to know the targets and alignments of who I killed. Ellis apparently just commented on who he thought the vig was. Omrom was heavily suspicious of Ellis last night, to the point where he wanted me to vig-kill him. Omrom also maybe told Fazit last night that I was the vigilante. I told him to tell Fazit after the 24 hour mark so he couldn't change targets to me if he was scum. So, I'll ask again to the assembled group. How is the game still going with four people left and no scum found? I've got a few crazy theories: 1) The scum don't technically outnumber the town because of all the missing people. Not very likely because that would be extremely difficult for the scum to pull of a victory and they are all dead even though listed as missing. 2) The scum killed one of their own in order to pull off some massive power play. We don't know the confirmed alignment of four players. For me, since I know the alignment of Ruben, I don't know the alignment of three players. (Nadia, Lully, Omrom) I'm inclined to believe that Omrom is town, since I told him I was the vigilante before the 24 night action submission period was up. It would've made sense for him to switch his kill to me if he was one of the scum. As for Nadia and Lully, I have no idea. 3) The scum don't win in a parity and have to outnumber the town. This is sort of hinted at in the rules, in which it states that the Raiders must outnumber the Alliance. It says nothing about a parity. I think this might be the most likely option, in which case we're in serious trouble and the night actions will decide (unless we lynch someone, but we have nothing to go on.) What does everyone else think?
  4. Why don't you vote for one of them, then? I'm sticking with what I think is best. You need to go so we can see the alignments of who you've killed.
  5. Who do you think the remaining Raider is, then? If you claim you've killed one, then who is the last one? In your opinion of course.
  6. I'm very tempted to agree with this, but we don't know for certain if you win with us and we also don't know if you have the town's best interests at heart. We also are receiving conflicting information from you about the potential raider that you may or may not have killed. I know it sucks, but I think the best thing is for you to die so we can see whether or not you've killed actually killed any scum, as your kill results will all come out once you're dead. Vote: Josie I didn't know for certain that Ima would flip town, I just sort of figured that a scum wouldn't vote for themselves to trigger a bandwagon and then not vote, thereby getting a penalty vote for the next day. Eieek! Omrom! Help! Another mouse!
  7. Josie, have you killed any Raiders? You'll know the alignments of the two people you've killed. It would be extremely helpful to us. Also, what is your exact win condition? Can you win with the town? Or do you have to kill everyone to win?
  8. I don't know if you should take what I'm saying as 100% accurate. Like I said before, hosts have always changed the parameters of games from the standard ones that they may have found on mafiawiki. In the long history of neutrals and serial killers, they've always been able to win with either side. This time, however, with such a small amount of players and the possibility of three night kills a night, plus a lynch, it's entirely possible that the serial killer's win condition could be to wipe out everyone, raiders and town alike. This is one of the reasons that I'm concerned with this lynch. To me, it seems that people are jumping on a bandwagon. Ima's already got a vote because of a penalty. If Ima was actually scum, I don't think that she'd risk getting a penalty vote. I might be wrong, she may have lost track of the day and not have come back in time to make a vote, but to me this seems off. I'm curious, Omrom, could you go over again what you found suspect about Ellis? And Ima, could you perhaps tell us who you find suspicious?
  9. Thanks for getting that mouse for me! I'm afraid though that I don't follow your logic. I said that I didn't think any raiders were killed because there were twelve of us, with presumably two scum, the odds are greatly reduced that the vigilante or the serial killer would have struck a raider. I'm not saying it's impossible that it happened, I'm just doing some statistical odds. I don't think I said we should never lynch, I believe I said that we should be careful with who we lynch, especially with a reduced number of us today. I'm not sure about the Ima lynch, but it's always an option, especially since we have to vote. We've still got a fair amount of time left today, but I don't think we're going to learn anything useful. Caution in all things.
  10. I wouldn't say that it was a change of opinion. I said essentially the same thing, that it was mildly suspicious but was also clearly a joke vote. They're not really different opinions. I'm not sure we should go on forever without a lynch, but I'm saying we need to be careful with three potential night killers. What, you don't see it?
  11. I don't think that's what I said. I said that with three people gone missing in the night, that means that the Donner Party is likely. And in that scenario, that means there's a vigilante, serial killer, and scum killer. I said that the vigilante was foolish last night to target someone so early in the game. It's possible that the vigilante struck scum, but with so few it's unlikely. I think the vote on Ima was ridiculous, considering she clearly voted for herself as some sort of a joke, and for whatever reason people jumped onboard. In hindsight, I think the no-lynch yesterday was the right choice. We would've had four dead this morning. Obviously we didn't know the set up yesterday, but knowing it today tells me that I was right not to vote to lynch someone who had obviously made a joke vote on themselves. Also, AHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Mouse!
  12. Good morning all! Or perhaps, not a good morning since there's three of us missing. Good find on the Donner Party link. From what I understand, we have a scum cannibal, a serial killer cannibal, and a vigilante cannibal. That explains the three vanishings last night. Assuming the set-up is the same, which may not be the case since hosts have been known to radically alter mafiawiki games, there's three non-town out there - two scum and a neutral. With nine of us left, it looks like it may be a quick game. We can obviously assume that the scum did not target one of their own last night, which means the vigilante and the serial killer may have struck a scum, but it's very unlikely considering how early in the day it is. I would have thought the vigilante might have wanted to stay home last night, since it's so early in the game and the odds are they would have targeted a town instead of a scum, but some people work in different ways I guess. To me, it seems likely that we're doing this Donner Party, with three night kills and those killed "missing" instead of dead. It's entirely possible that we're not and this is an entirely different set up that seems similar but isn't. What's with this weird posting format? Is this some sort of RP and I missed you doing this yesterday? No, it doesn't seem to be present in your posts yesterday. I've got my wide open terrified eyes on you. So, there was no lynch yesterday, but I feel it's prudent to update the vote counter, not on alignment, but on people missing: Ellis - 4 ( Lully, Omrom, Torgam, Ruben) Ima - 4 (Fazit, Ellis, Quinn, Josie) Quinn - 1 (Martin) Ruben - 1 (Nadia) Non-voters - Covam, Ima Ima originally voted for herself and then a couple people jumped onboard for whatever reason. I'll admit it was a bit suspect that she decided to vote for herself when she was talking about making someone squirm, but maybe she's into that sort of thing. I'm not one to judge.
  13. This is a bit of an unusual move. It's a bold strategy for sure. I think I'm going to: Vote: Quinn For being against getting bit on the ankles.
  14. I think we should all subject ourselves to being bit on the ankles. I will be first! Bite away! If such crazy tests work for finding witches and werewolves, it must work for finding raiders! But if we have to vote, I believe that I'll need to observe a bit more.
  15. I'm not scared. Ignore my facial expression that seems to be locked in a state of panic. I'm actually in a state of joy, mixed with determination, optimism, and disgust. I'm not angry! You're angry!
  16. Perhaps there's such a thing a vegan dragon? Stranger things have happened. Quickly! Get that BBQ online! We can't let possessed sausages bring us down! I guess that's another thing for the list. Damnit, what else could go wrong? We can't afford to be scared people? What's that? I always look scared? No, see, that's not a scream of being scared, it's a scream of determination! AHHHHHHH.
  17. Grumble humble mumble, I'm not pleased with the idea that there's raiders among us. We've got to do something. Wait, we're already doing something? Why wasn't I consulted on this?
  18. Who else are we waiting on?! Hurry up, we've got mafia to play!
  19. Alright then, let's get down to business. I've had enough of these confirmation thread shenanigans. When are we lynching someone? Who are we lynching? I want answers, people. Wait, is that a mouse! Eieeee!!!
