  1. Thanks for moving it - should have read the FAQ before the post!
  2. I have been watching the latest developments like a lot of folks nowadays, especially since we are bordering with Ukraine... thus the footage of rolling & wrecked T72s has kinda burnt into my retina lately. Here is a Lego version of the B3 variant of T72 that I made in the past couple of days using Lego Digital Designer. I will build this in actual Lego as well. 3. Yes, this one is intended as a "budget" but solid version for my son to play with - I'll expand on it in terms of detail (sights, more detailed sloped armour etc) - but that is going on Daddy's shelf :D
  4. I'm a big fan of C&C universe and would like to bring some of the units alive. This is a MOC build for GDI's powerful Mammoth tank. The idea was to make a playable, decent looking but not too pricey version of it. So I did not go too far in terms of details. This in overall is under $60 per unit through bricklink - I just ordered the parts for the first one and want to make 4 at least of these (much to my sons delight). Anyway - here is the planned model:

  8. This is a custom made TR-85 M1 "Bizonul" type tank. It is an update/re-design of the T55 base model, made by Romania and currently in service with their army. Here is the LDD MOC, now to get the parts from Bricklink!
  9. Hi Everyone! This is my very first post here on this forum. I have been an avid Lego fan since my childhood, but only as of lately started to get into building using Lego Digital Designer. I am a big tank/AFV enthusiest and a big fan of the movie called "The Beast of war". Hence my first creation is a T55 based on this movie. I took inspiration & ideas from quite a few MOC sets I have seen on exhibitions & online on the T55. I have tried to add my own spin to it, and to remain relatively close to minifig scale. I'm currently at the stage of wrapping up designing in LDD - a bit more detailing and additional functionality is still left to do, but the overall outlook is already there. Here is a short video snapshot of it recorded in LDD: Up next for me is getting the actual parts... is Bricklink the best source to do that? Is there a software that can help with hunting don the parts based on the LDD design? Thank you
