  1. I'd say those thoroughly fake looking PMs are some pretty damning evidence of either scumminess or stupidity. I wish I could be sure which, this game has been full of a lot of the latter. Half our lynches were driven by their targets being stupid and looking like scum. Nevertheless, the odds have to be with us now, right? Right? Vote: Trenton Monette
  2. I know one thing, if someone sent me a PM suggesting anything underhanded, first thing I'd do is run here and get the word out, so this pings a little like someone trying to redirect suspicion away from themselves without planning it out well.
  3. As for this PM quoting, it absolutely is allowed, we went through all this before. The only thing you can't do is directly quote (or misquote as a tactic) the host, as I understand it. I'll need to do some preparation.
  4. Aiden targeted no one. I hate this role ...
  5. What idiot said that and when? Are they still alive? Given that only our first lynch was right (low hanging fruit and all), "Hey guys, you better keep lynching or we'll lose" is a particularly scummy concept to pull out of nowhere.
  6. This is preposterous. He's clearly lying to our faces. Why would someone come on the internet and just lie to us like this? We're supposed to believe you have friends? Seriously... Just to add some value to this post, IF I was leaning towards anyone today, it would be Peter, and Vincent did a decent job summarizing why. Still not sure though.
  7. I'm gonna ping some people here. Let's not lynch today. I don't see how we can do it with enough certainty, we're definitely not in a good position, and I'm seriously starting to think that they can't kill anymore or someone would be dead by now. Unless you can point out one person who absolutely hasn't previously had the opportunity to kill but could now, I'm not placing a vote. We've handed this entire thing to the scum, day after day, including our own strong-arm kill and then the resulting lynch from that.
  8. You're not the only one confused... I know for a fact he targeted Peter, so wth?
  9. So we know this isn't 3 days in a row where Vincent was blocked. And still no kill. I will not be voting for Vincent today, no matter how idiotically suicidal he acts. As for Fred, he targeted Peter as requested. I tracked him to be sure. Sorry I missed the big reveal of the fake block on Vincent, but it's been such a wordy game that I'm down to scanning and clearly that's sloppy. Maybe someone should kill me.
  10. I have one very specific thought, if you can confirm whether or not my idea was used last night. I will say this. I'm tired of the town being suicidal. The scum aren't winning, we're just giving it away. Stop this shit. If you're town and of any value, and everyone is of some value at this point, just stop the nonsense. It's like people are throwing intentionally and I'm sick of it.
  11. You should do what your comfortable with, so that would be fine. I can't even point to a specific instance of any plan being interfered with, it's just a feeling. It wouldn't surprise me. Or they have a pool of actions and can take turns doing things, which means that a lot of our results are useless. I really hope that isn't the case or we're doomed.
  12. I kind of don't. I said I had some doubts earlier and nothing has assuaged those, especially his over-the-top cooperation with it. What do the scum have to gain by cooperating? If he's a scum killer, we probably would have a vig and do we even have a hint of that? If so, they could kill him anyway, I assume. I don't oppose the plan, I just feel like it might not be the best option. As for picking who to track, I'll be doing that on my own, I have little doubt that at least one of the town block was poorly chosen and is leaking information. It's why I tried to wait so long to include my intended action, I don't trust it.
  13. I'm not going to make a long post here, sadly the ghost of he-who-shall-not-be-named seems to still be in possession of some of us and is still flooding the days. So honestly, I don't think it's Fabien, or at least I don't think we can be even vaguely secure that it is, and at this point, the numbers are becoming worrysome. I wonder what we would get out of Aiden using his role, which I don't see being that useful otherwise, to save him. It would prove the role, but still not absolutely help with alignments. I don't know, it's just a thought. As for blocking Vincent and Fabien for the rest of the game, at this point, what else do we have to do? Are there such good block targets that we need to kill either of them to free up the spot? I don't see it.
  14. The scum would have been fools to kill Daniel, unless he was on to something, but even then, his blathering and overall uselessness would have never actually gotten anything accomplished, he was the best thing they had going for them. So I'm inclined to almost believe this claim. Problem is, why make the claim at all? I've seen a lot of vigs who screwed up (hell, most of them) and just kept quiet. Difference here, you needed to claim or you had a 50/50 chance of being lynched today. As goofy as claiming to have wrongly killed the scummiest townie in history might be, it could delay your death until tomorrow, scoring another victory for the scum if Vincent isn't one of them and you are. That's the point, isn't it? We're supposed to believe that you're harmless now, but we really don't know. We could possibly insure it, but that isn't definite either. I can come up with theories and counter theories for every point in the game. For all the days of nonstop pointless chatter and charts of supposed night actions and voting patterns, we're not that much better off today than we were on day 1. Except it's a hell of a lot quieter, and for that, I salute you. I will have to sleep on this and see where it leads me.
  15. Talk about mixed feelings... Shame about Justin. Well, we must carry on. Since we know so little about him, I tracked Trenton who didn't target anyone. The list of likely killers has to be getting very short now, unless the scum can move it around, which is not unheard of.
  16. Can't read your mind and this isn't the first time I've made the comment, so I'll take you as the exception. Honestly, I thought you might have just gotten tired of replying, knowing it tends to incur his replies. A fair theory and certainly one I've considered. It would be incredibly petty to do it just for that, but ... You did reduce them a bit, and for that I am thankful.
  17. Hardly a bandwagon and just about any vote with more than a few people is likely to have a scum on it. In this case, a scum you never voted for. Even without carefully reading every word, I know you've never been part of a vote that lynched a scum. Maybe we're both the same person, or maybe everyone is you. What if this is all in your head and you're only fighting yourself? You're certainly not putting one on. There is absolutely no way I could confirm my role any more than I have. If I reveal first, you gripe, if I reveal last, you gripe. There's a pattern here: you gripe. As for information confirmed by others, maybe you people should keep your mouths shut in private, since you clearly think the things you're discussing are being leaked outside your group. Seems like a you problem. I have talked very little to very few people and not revealed anything until I knew they couldn't use it to interfere. So far, that has worked for me. Shame you haven't done the same, assuming you're not just scum and enjoying all the behind the scenes information. Is it being blocked that makes him scummy, or are you admitting he actually IS scummy, yet still not getting your vote? Ah, there we go, the scum clearly don't have enough inside information, they need it all neatly presented to them. That's been working well so far, huh?
  18. You were 'butthurt' that I voted for you and went in constant attack mode over it. You've been 'butthurt' that I've said that you haven't been helpful, and you haven't, and you still aren't, and to this day, no one has disagreed with me on the subject. That must drive you crazy. Your switch from Justin to Alex came midway, a safe position to hide in, and then brought 3 people along after. Completely shifted the momentum to someone we ultimately found out was town. When you pulled out of the Alex vote after reaching the number needed for a lynch and then tried to push me to replace your vote, it made me incredibly suspicious, like you knew he was town and wanted to distance yourself from a lynch you supposedly believed in enough to originally support. I wondered how long before you would come along to try to take credit for that. Except no one told me anything, and I tracked someone who wasn't suggested, then reported the results before they were publicly confirmed. That would be a little difficult to fake, even for a role as weak as voyeur appears to be. I must be missing something in your comment though, because I don't see how Robin or Peter are involved, and, much to your likely annoyance, I can't remember who Peter is.
  19. I've meant to say this before, but this is a prime example. I the addition of lyrics to the tuba serenades, it really adds to the experience.
  20. I've been questioning his motives for a while, as you could easily see in previous discussions. We should have lynched Justin yesterday and he helped redirect that, so I continue to question whether it is intentionally scummy or just being stupid. Pointing out how Daniel is suspicious, especially when it relates to someone even more suspicious isn't odd, to me.
  21. I'm sure Alex does as well. At the very least, we wouldn't have ended up any worse off. Yet you don't vote for Justin, much like your defense of him throughout the days. Call him scummo, but don't vote for him and keep pounding for a roleclaim from Vincent. Brilliant as ever. Vote: Justin Reynaud
  22. I would sign up for that game. Every anonymous player is actually 2 characters, one scum and one town with no knowledge of their teams and a requirement to kill both one of your own characters as well as their entire team. My mind reels at the possibilities.
  23. So Daniel suggested I track Justin and I thought he could be doing so with the intent to deceive in some way, so I chose otherwise. I am claiming Town Tracker and am pretty sure that's confirmed at this point. Well, at least tracker, it isn't like anyone is going to claim scum.
  24. For the sake of transparency, I'll summarize my night. I asked Vincent and Daniel to ask for tracking suggestions. I'll leave them out in case that would reveal their private suspicions, but ultimately I chose Andrew since I had been suspicious of him early on, but then saw less of him in the days, thinking he might be trying to slide by quietly. I received a message from Robin who indicated that they were considering protecting me. I suggested using it for one of the quieter players (not anyone specifically), thinking they might be chosen by a killer looking for an easy target. I submitted my tracking choice, Andrew. After waiting long enough to know that all night actions should be in, I revealed my selection to Vincent, who I reluctantly find the most trustworthy thus far. I say reluctantly only because I'm still not sure of anyone. I got the results and the day started while I was still asleep. And that is your daily Emmett report. The current conversations are interesting and in spots, confusing, but I do see some promise in all of this. That "asked" should be "wrote", I was trying to be clearer and ended up less clear.
  25. I understand. I actually confirmed it a post before you on the advice of others anyway. I am having to venture out into the world today, so I haven't time to catch up. I promise to later.
