  1. Honestly, we all might need a nap.
  2. Cool. Anyone can do acrostics. To be fair, I'm assuming everyone has roles based off of the last game by our glorious, benevolent leader Bobert. I don't think everyone should claim, but if Mr. Lucas says he targeted somebody, and we are considering lynching him, his publicly stated target should state what happened in the night. Alex Howe has not said anything either way.
  3. The trend that we have in other games of misguided townies arguing for some stupid reason that gets blown up and the scum extort. You can say "Well that's because nobody knows who is what role," but we've had it happen over and over where Townie A for metagaming or some other reason doesn't like Townie B and they fight it out in the day.
  4. This is why I believe(d) earlier that one of you is scum. There's too much air being wasted by everyone talking. Although you both could be misguided town.
  5. I don't care or remember who was what last game. And it shouldn't matter. Dear god it absolutely should not matter. This is a new game, and if Bob made a new game aand didn't shuffle around people, we can all as a game talk about that later, but let's not be revealing who we are off of metagaming like this. By that I mean by saying who we were in the last game by the same host. Yes and no. Scum has infiltrated the Town block before multiple times. Some times it was sheer luck they won. This logic you've put forth is bull, in my opinion. In anonymous games, I don't think that is always the case. In games where metagaming is easier, yeah It's definitely more likely your thoughts are plausible. But how do we know who you are? You could be pretending to be anyone in an anonymous game. And with everyone not being able to talk during the day, it makes your idea of who is scum weaker. Normally, I think you would be right. This is my biggest issue, not just for this game but EB as a whole. If you've got an issue with this game, keep it to yourself and bring it up with the host until the game ends. This reeks of "I'm not getting my way." But to be fair, it is valid. EB main games have a meta, and EB anonymous have another meta. You, Mr. Lucas, bringing it up have made me belive you are an older member based on you mentioning meta. I do not believe Bob would consciously put old members together. If it was random, sure. But your accusations seem to go against previous games where "older members" have been had. AND if you do think the game was unfair from the get-go, you should have mentioned it to the gamehost. But I think this is a discussion that should and can happen later. Your posts make it appear (whether true or not) that Bob made old participants be scum, and we should not lynch you because you're not old Going back to the game, Anyone and everyone can break fourth wall, as we've seen. Scum and town both should ignore this. I really hate that I love this game sometimes.,
  6. Wait, sarcasm? I don't care if somone claims their role in thread or not. I just want to know if success or unsuccessful was a result right now. The scum know already who is successful or unsuccessful by them being able to communicate (add on some hours because they have to wait until night to communicate). The individual scum certainly know if their actions were successful, because they most likely coordinated and sent actions in at the last minute, so they know who each player targeted. If a scum killed Remi, they know there's a good chance their killer was successful, unless both the scum killer and a possible vigilante both targeted him, then it's a toss up until night begins. I honestly do not see where I've been illogical, but ok, you do you, Mr. Lucas. That being said, if Mr. Howe confirms his successful/unsuccessful status if we all have night actions, which I believe we do, I will gladly remove my vote from you, even if it damages my reputation, because I would believe you are town. I do not think the scum could coordinate such a move like this in this game with the rules set as they are, at least this early in the game.
  7. I'm under the assumption that everyone has a role in this game. It's expected at this point. And yes, I was meaning the "alien" variant of the role. While we can't truly believe you since you can't quote PMs, this is the biggest piece of evidence for me of you possibly being town now--at least until Alex speaks. Eh, more like 3-4/15 chance. Since if we estimate at worst for the town 1/4 players are scum, right? As others have mentioned, we should consider the possibility of Mr. Howe being a vigilante. But we wait on him to confirm if he was blocked or not.
  8. There is a variant of the jailkeeper role variant that makes it's target untargetable by any action that night. Without knowing the flavor of the text that was sent to Mr. Lucas, it is possible that Mr. Lucas is the stronger type.
  9. Exactly. I don't know if you are or not. I know what I am and am not, and if your target you claim (below) verifies this, then there's a better chance you're town, because I do't think if you're scum you'd willingly say you blocked another scum role, there's too much at risk for such a gamble. So, @Alex Howe, is this true? Were you unsuccessful in a night action if you have an action? Was anyone else who might have targeted Alex unsuccessful? Now, I'm not asking what your roles are, just if an action was performed.
  10. If Daniel reveals who he jailkept, and he is confirmed by that person to be unsuccessful, not necessarily revealing their role, I’d actually believe him.
  11. I wanted a lynch, and my second vote yesterday was in my opinion best chance to get it. I use “we” because I’m speaking of us as a town and players as a whole. People try to set up next day lunches all the time. There is no issue with me stating what we can do for a game plan, especially since nobody can PM during the day.
  12. I wanted us to have a day 1 lynch but still stand by my original vote of voting for Mr. Tremblay. I found him to be acting scummy, but I was committed to a lynch more. I see no issue with my beliefs here. I did not “jump around a bit.” I placed one vote and then switched due to us needing a lynch. I was consistent in my statements yesterday. Regarding today and the middle of the night and transparency, I did not receive any PMs. Pardon me, I’m writing from my mobile parchment, and I don’t recall who suggested that Mr. Lucas PM everyone. It is clear he did not. And communicating this early via PM just seems incredibly naive to me, at best. We, I assume, just got back results this morning, unless someone is a a role that works during the day. And there’s talk of warning players of night actions to come? Ludicrous playing. With Mr Denis and Mr Lucas arguing back and forth, I’m guessing one is scum, and since the scum can’t communicate and coordinate during the day, other scum members aren’t able to tell their teammate to back off. I say we lynch one today. If he turns up scum, fantastic. If not, we go for the other tomorrow. Vote: Daniel Lucas
  13. Well, I can't say I'm surprised about Mr. Lavoie's death. Mr. Blaise was fairly quiet yesterday. He appears to be a relatively easy target if he was a scum kill as not too much attention would be drawn, no?
  14. I'm gonna go up to the mast and look out at the night sky. Absolutely beautiful up there.
  15. Can I just say for the record I think we're all acting absolutely crazy at this moment? I did not jump quickly, mind you. There were a few hours after he posted I cast my vote, and I just think it was a scummy move of him. I stand by my choice in voting for him, for the record. I would hope he's not scum and just a mistake, but I would not want to let an easy vote fly by like his could have if it was not brought attention to. I can see your logic and reasoning here, as well as Mr. Lucas' in his post above mine. While I do stand by my vote, I also stated earlier I would be in favor of a lynch if we could reach it. Thus... Unvote: Robin Tremblay Vote: Aiden Leon
  16. Mr. Levitt, you were wrong, as I did suggest a lynch would be where my thoughts lie. Voting for Lavoie is a waste of a vote at this point. If we did not know he was possibly being replaced, then a vote for Lavoie would be reasonable. At this moment it is not. Mr. Tremblay is trying to look active and go for an easy target who he knows will most likely not fight back. It's a perfect move to seem helpful, in a normal setting. With the knowledge of Lavoie possibly being replaced, it's--at best--a townie trying to not get axed by a vig, which I doubt. Vote: Robin Tremblay
  17. I think you're just jealous of my beard, Peter. You've barely said anything and just vote, maybe trying to slide under the radar and look active.
  18. Of course, Monsieur Bellamy. I find myself thinking that we should have a lynch today. Who that is, I have no clue or leaning as of this moment.
  19. Sorry everyone, I was taking a quick nap up on the masts. It's quite peaceful up there. If I may suggest getting on to official business, what are everyone's thoughts on lynching or no lynching on Day 1? I've read in past annals this discussion happens all the time, I figured let's get it out of the way early before we're scrambling around.
  20. He will be bucked off faster than you can say “giraffe.”
  21. The tall thing? Why a giraffe?
  22. It's my beard, soldier!
  23. I am here! I had a strange dream the other night.
